In my opinion, these are not significant,
pleasant campsite just to relax and unwind
Beautiful, almost idyllic site at the end of a small local road near (approx. 1 km) Lamastre. Sufficient parking space for caravans in front of the reception for registration. Nice little reception with a few articles for daily needs. Baguettes, bread etc. can also be ordered here daily. Behind the reception... there is a kind of beer garden and there are small snacks, ice cream and drinks. There are 3 sanitary buildings on the site. The one in the middle, on the tourist side, is the largest and most modern. As is often the case in France, there is no separation between men and women. The chemical sink is also located here, on the outside area, separated by a small bamboo hedge. The sanitary facilities were always clean during our stay. There were plenty of fresh water taps at the entrances to the pitches. There is a football pitch, volleyball court, table tennis tables and a recreation room with a TV and a small selection of books as well as fitness equipment. On the front part of the site there are mainly mobile homes with a few pitches in between, most of which were occupied by permanent campers. On the remaining part of the site there are mainly parceled out pitches of different sizes. Mostly 6 - 8 pitches surrounded by hedges, some of which are loosened up. Overall, the site is sufficiently shaded by an abundance of trees. There is a general bathing area on the Doux river outside the campsite (approx. 200m on foot). In front of the campsite is a restaurant with a vine-covered terrace, where you can also get pizza to take away. Overall a pleasant campsite, which is also suitable for a longer stay and for exploring the area (only by car). A little information on the side, very narrow access roads to the CP.
