We wanted to enjoy a few more days in the North Sea at the end of our vacation. So we looked for a pitch on ACSI and set off. Unfortunately this site was full and we had to move on. So we ended up here in Poldervallei, located in Westende, right on the edge of the village. Stores are in the immediate... vicinity. The coastal train is within walking distance, so you can travel the whole coast for little money. The reception was friendly, the site is huge, including the pitches. Electricity is at the pitch, water nearby. There is a wash house at the beginning of the site and another one with toilets and wash cubicles in the middle of the site. There are 3 showers and 3 wash cabins with toilets in the 1st sanitary block. Unfortunately you have to insert coins, 1€ for 7 min. Although I doubt this time, I could just rinse the foam out of my hair then it was over. Everything was very cramped, no storage space or seating. Unfortunately also full, 3 showers for 500 pitches, no comment. The toilet block was not cleaned, there was a lack of paper and soap. Unfortunately there are contemporaries who leave the toilet totally filthy. This is actually a nice place, pitches with a meadow, close to the sea, but this toilet block is not good at all. Since we can shower in the car, we last 4 days.
