Unfortunately, the access road is so steep and narrow that large mobile homes have a hard time. The pitches are nicely laid out, terraced and usually large enough.
The wash house takes some getting used to. Hot water is only available by pressing the switch... in the shower.... you have to know that first..... showers are big enough. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out the layout, there were separate showers. There were toilets with washbasins and shower heads on the wall.... Women and men were somehow mixed up in the house....
and unfortunately it was also very old, moldy and partly dirty.
The restaurant is very good, you can also eat on site.
There is no store. There is a Conad a good 600 m away, which has everything.
The owner of the camp takes some getting used to, not angry, but somehow strange. His sense of humor is strange, but if you understand him like I do, you're in good hands. Others might have a problem with it....
The gates to the lake are locked from 10 pm, so you can only get in via the main entrance.
The pool is small, we didn't use it. Stayed there with our children, aged 7 and 10.
The location is really nice, right on the lake with great lake views and within walking distance of the nearest town. Nice walk in the evening, for dinner, ice cream, excursions etc. The... operators are very nice and helpful.
Everything is clean and lovingly laid out.
We had a private bathroom for the first time because of the corona situation. They are simple, but clean. And above all, there were plenty of them.
We even received a small gift as a farewell gift.

Swimming possibility.Caution is advised!We stayed at this beautiful site with our caravan in October 2019. We really can't complain about the facilities or the staff, and the prices are also very good. But what happened to us was the following: We initially wanted to register as ACSI members for 3 days. The manager then said that we should... stay for 5 days and entered this in his booking plan. We agreed to this. When we then decided to move on after 4 days, the "nice senior" insisted on paying for the 5-day stay. That is unacceptable! We went to the restaurant once for dinner. The food was very good. But I was served the wrong pizza. When we settled the bill, we discovered that the drinks had been charged twice. Of course, as expected, the waitress was very friendly and apologized a thousand times for the "mistake"! The fact that the boss insisted on paying for a 5th day was something we found very impertinent!Automātiski tulkots.

If you do something "wrong", you are reprimanded by the owner. Ripped us off with the deposit and with guests. Very unfriendly to children. The operators were friendly and helpful. You have a wonderful view towards Sirmione from almost every pitch. However, the site is not really suitable for large motorhomes/caravans, as the access road is quite steep and narrow in places, and... most of the pitches are too small for this. Actually, this would be a place where you would love to come back, so five stars... but... the sanitary facilities are quite large (= plenty of toilets/showers) but after an estimated 25 years they should be renovated, some of them are quite dingy and no longer up to date. You also can't wash up after dark as the lights are simply switched off (no switches). The place is favorable for the location, but you notice that. When the bathrooms (we had a private bathroom) are renovated again, we will gladly come back, but like this... there are simply better things.Automātiski tulkots.
- Bernd U.October 2018PozitīviNice and quiet location!NegatīvaisOutdated sanitary facilitiesSmall campsite in a beautiful quiet locationWe stayed at this beautiful terraced campsite in the off-season in Oct. 2018, from where you have a wonderful view over Lake Garda. The access to the pitches is steep, the pitches relatively small and cramped. Almost unsuitable for large motorhomes over 7m. Electricity is available, water connection... on some pitches. The swimming pool was still open (a rarity in Italy!) but relatively cool. Location 1a ! The restaurant above the pool is absolutely recommendable, prices ok, (beer however very expensive: o,5l cost 5 € !), view wonderful ! Unfortunately the mosquitoes were very annoying. But this could be due to the time of year or to our unfavorable location! If you consider the price in the low season, then you have to turn a blind eye to the relatively old sanitary facilities. The staff were always friendly! We will gladly return to this campsite!Automātiski tulkots.
- Hendrik K.September 2018Camping site in a good location in the south of Lake GardaOnly separated from the pebble beach on Lake Garda by a footpath. Sanitary good and clean. We didn't visit the pool or restaurant, so I can't comment on that. In mid-September the campsite was dominated by German pensioners with dogs. The dogs were also in the water and on the beach during the day despite... the ban. Generally speaking, at the end of a tour of Italy, Lake Garda feels about as Italian as Mallorca feels Spanish... In terms of scenery, we find the north of Lake Garda much more beautiful, which is why we wouldn't go here again.Automātiski tulkots.

Very nice ambience, very friendly operatorsNegatīvaisNoneIt couldn't be more beautifulThe icing on the cake for one of the most beautiful vacation regions. You can only feel at home with the very friendly owners Uschi and Fabricio. The site has a uniquely beautiful location: away from the main roads, so quiet. Terrace location, almost all pitches have a view over the lake. Flush with... the lake promenade, you are immediately on the water. The neighboring campsites are not noisy either. The site is beautifully laid out and, above all, beautifully planted with plants, stone statues and pretty planters. The site is not too big, which creates a homely feeling. You can eat well in the restaurant and order bread rolls and a daily newspaper in your own language. The owners are also very friendly. The Merkato Simply supermarket is a 7-minute walk or you can cycle to it. It is certainly advisable to pre-book a pitch, tent or rental accommodation in the high season. If it is possible for us, we definitely want to spend such wonderful vacation weeks on 'LaCa' again.Automātiski tulkots.

We were thrilled. Got a great pitch with our caravan in the 2nd row right on the lake. We can't agree at all with the previous reviews about unfriendly staff. The manager was very friendly and the reception staff were always very cooperative with tips... for excursions and other things. We can only recommend Camping La Cha to anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet place with a wonderful view. We were very lucky with the weather and so everything was just perfect. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but very clean. As I said, one of the most beautiful places on the otherwise often very crowded Lake Garda!Automātiski tulkots.

Most of the pitches are without grass, just bare earth. For a camper probably ok, for a tent only as long as it is dry. Unfortunately, the owner is consistently unfriendly. The pitches are well laid out and despite being on the 3rd floor we were able to look out over the gardasse without any restrictions. The ascent and descent is very steep, as has often been described, but you can use a towing aid here.... The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is not so great, we rented a private sanitary and cleaned it ourselves before use. We will be back next year.Automātiski tulkots.

We called from the road and asked if there was a pitch available for 1-2 nights for a caravan (we have a 2.5m wide and 7.50m long camper van...), the answer was yes. On arrival, the access road to the campsite became narrower... and steeper, oncoming cars and we all had trouble getting past each other. The pitch on offer was on a terraced area, but difficult for us to access, very narrow roads, as walls, cars, caravans etc. protrude over the paths to the left and right, we were not offered any towing assistance, interesting that there is apparently one. Not surprising with this unfriendly owner. We had to unhitch and move the last section up to the campsite in a steep bend. The drawbar of a permanent camper protrudes completely into the path of a one-way street that serves as an exit and is marked with warning signs, but does not make the narrow street in which our pitch was located any wider. There were a lot of mosquitoes at the site, but that's to be expected at a lake. No parking spaces for campers, only for the rental properties on site. We were allowed to park our car at the emergency exit after making arrangements with an employee, our terrace pitch was a good bit higher than the road and you couldn't park a car next to it (we hadn't put up an awning!). Absolute stopping ban in the bend in front of the barrier was ignored (a car was parked in front of it when we left in the morning, probably not returned in time in the evening before the barrier closed), thus blocking the exit, but the owner didn't care, he grumbled at us that shortly before the garbage collection also came through (narrow-track tractor with trailer ...).Automātiski tulkots.

There is something to the comments about the owner. It seemed to me that any conversation could end in a full-blown argument. He already has an unpleasant commanding tone about him. "Tell them to come... here...... go back and turn off the engine". That was our greeting at the barrier. "If you're looking for peace and quiet at night, you're better off further back. But it's not the site operator's fault." The beach is very narrow and the people from the surrounding areas walk about 1-2 m past the awning. One or two people are sometimes louder. Young people bathing until 2 am. (The beach is public). Techno beats are played on the shore opposite until sunrise. You can't miss the booming. When we left 2 days earlier (than reserved), I had to pay for the whole pitch (which would still be ok) including electricity and a flat rate for people. I'm not even there, so I can't use any electricity. The hill down to the lake is steep, but no problem with the towing service. The staff even help to get the car on and off the pitch, so a big thank you for that. The campers on the pitch are all nice and you don't hear anything from the neighbors from 10pm to 11pm, although a lot of people are still enjoying a nightcap in the awning. That's how I know and do it myself. I won't visit the site again, 1. because of the complicated owner 2. because of the area around it, you can't really do anything without a long drive. 3. because of the noise from the surrounding area.Automātiski tulkots.
