The tone at reception takes some getting used to.Light and shadowUnfortunately, you don't get a map to help you find your pitch. Taking photos of the screen is also forbidden, "so that you can't reserve a specific pitch next time".
The disposal station for chemical toilets is not signposted anywhere and had to be asked for by other guests. There is apparently no provision... for emptying after sunset and there is no lighting. There are motion detectors for the light in the shower rooms, but these do not cover the shower cubicles. This means that at some point you are standing in the dark and have to leave the cubicle naked and shampooed in order to switch the light back on. You're also out of luck if the electricity credit at your pitch is used up unnoticed and the fridge starts to defrost. An extremely unattractive solution.Automātiski tulkots. - M. It is not possible to block the electricity supply, as the campers have to load the electricity machines themselves with 1 euro coins.

We have always been well received and warmly welcomed. The entire kitchen team always responded competently even when there was a big rush (guests also want to be served in the bathroom, which is part of the campsite). The site is always well maintained. The site is very well maintained, the pitches are very well equipped with electricity and water. Electricity column according to consumption 2 Kw 1€ with coin.
The sanitary facilities... are very clean, but the number of men's toilets and showers are inadequate. The Corona hygiene concept is not optimal - hair dryer and hand dryer. The scullery is too small and the chemical toilet must be disposed of at a column without a water connection.
The service charge is used to pay for water and waste disposal.
Since the campsite price includes entry to the leisure pool, the price-performance ratio is okay.Automātiski tulkots.

Definitely not for the squeamish: The lady at reception - unfriendly, there's nothing to gloss over!
"Have you ever been here before?" If you were expecting information about the extremely hard floor, the electricity machine that only takes 1 EUR coins and needs... to be fed before it gives out electricity, the sanitary facilities that are almost outside or the chronically empty bread roll machine in the washing machine room, you're wrong! The most important thing was "You must come to pay 1 day before departure!" - Thank you... I'm not even there yet... Instruct where the place is ? "Somewhere back there" accompanied by an indefinable hand gesture. The WLAN is almost a minor matter, it only works at the kiosk, the password has to be retrieved from reception every day for each user and beware if you want access data more than once....
The demarcated pitches with electricity, water and waste water connections are good, but the extremely hard ground is bad. Even pegs could only be driven into the ground with brute force!
The free access to the outdoor pool and bathing lake is also good, although this is accompanied by repeated reminders from the lady at reception not to insert the access chip anywhere and to hand over the EUR 5 deposit....
The site is recommended for a short stay or as a stopover, but you should be aware that the kiosk closes early (7pm during the week, 8pm at weekends), as does the outdoor pool.
The neighbors were very good - but unfortunately that's a matter of luck ;-)
A word about the current Corona situation: Masks were only compulsory in theory, disinfectants were available (2 in front of the sanitary facilities) and access restrictions were at least not clearly marked.Automātiski tulkots.- Manuela S.August 2019Pozitīvibeautifully situated on the Elbe cycle path!!!Negatīvais"Food vending machine" chronically empty!!! no supermarketGreat location, but nothing moreBeautiful, situated on the Elbe. Great cycle paths, unfortunately no supermarket on site. Bread roll vending machine is already empty at 7am. "Restaurant" unfortunately only has food until 7pm and closes at 8pm, but only opens at 10am. Reception lady very unfriendly and no "welcome" feeling. Nice swimming... pool which is unfortunately not used enough. Bathing lake in a nice location, but not very nice to look at on the shore (algae, dirt and strange discoloration despite not too hot weather).Automātiski tulkots.

It is right on the cycle path and was therefore ideal for us. We had the huge tent meadow to ourselves and were allowed to pitch wherever we wanted. There are several covered benches and tables so that we could eat comfortably. The trip to the bakery was worth it, the bread rolls and cake were delicious. It's easy to get to Dresden and Meißen by bike from there. There is also a swimming pool and a quarry pond attached to the campsite. The sanitary facilities were clean in the morning but not in the evening,... which is also due to the campers themselves. The staff were friendly and courteous. You have to buy electricity with coins at the machine on the pitch, which we have never seen before on a campsite. Well, you never stop learning. It was still a great week. These were reserved for motorhomes. Instead, we were crammed onto the tent meadow and had to park our car in the parking lot outside the campsite after unloading: "That's only 100 m!" The even closer parking spaces were reserved... for staff. This doesn't apply to motorhomes - they sometimes even have 2 cars on the pitch. You couldn't really find any peace and quiet. Of course, there is always a certain amount of noise. But I don't want to have to listen to my neighbors' conversations for hours on end. The fact that the garbage disposal rolls rattling onto the tent pitch every day should perhaps also be reconsidered. Caution for older kids: the Wi-Fi is only available for a total of 10 people (and only in the restaurant area) and is only valid for one day! We were already three... You can buy bread rolls from a vending machine in the laundry room. Otherwise, the nearest bakery is about 1 km away. The adjacent bathing lake is really very pretty and we also liked the outdoor pool with a great slide. A great concept.Automātiski tulkots.
