- Sabrina K.August 2023PozitīviVery nice, large pitch (we were traveling with a caravan), pitches separated by hedges, great shade. The site is lovingly designed, the sanitary facilities are very clean (we used the new wash house, I don't know the others).NegatīvaisThe way to the beach is a bit awkward, as it leads over a somewhat busier road. With 2 small kids on the bike (because walking is too far in the heat) plus dog, plus bathing equipment a bit cumbersome... Dogs are not allowed in the water on the beach between 8am and 8pm. Dog beach only 3km away and not particularly nice either, unless you like stone beaches... We preferred to get in the car and drive 30km towards San Vincenco. It was really nice there, even for the dog.Beautiful campsite for familiesThe staff are all super friendly and very helpful. The supermarket has everything you need and is fairly priced! Dogs are welcome and have a small fenced area. We are here for 2 weeks and we like it very much. The pool is also mega! We and the kids (3 and 5 years) are happy here! We will definitely be back!Automātiski tulkots.
- Gunnar B.June 2019Pozitīvi- very good restaurant - very good supermarket & camping shop - most beautiful pool ever - very quiet - bike path under pine trees very closeNegatīvais- Location very far outside - Sea is far away and not really nice at the corner - Two thirds of the campsite still needs renovationCampsite is under reconstructionWe stayed at the campsite at the end of May - beginning of June. The arrival was a bit unusual because the campsite is relatively remote and there is no real "waiting area" for arriving campers in the entrance area. On the other hand, everything there has been completely rebuilt. New paving, new houses,... everything very well maintained! Reception went smoothly in broken German but fluent English and we were allocated a pitch right by the pool. And that for the ACSI price. The pitch was shady under pine trees, very long but narrow. Nevertheless, our 7.5m caravan including awning and car easily fitted on the pitch. The pool is the most beautiful pool I have ever seen! The site is very well maintained and there were always lifeguards on site. Unfortunately, the pool is not heated and so the water was still quite cold at the end of May despite air temperatures of over 30 degrees. The campsite has a petting zoo, a very good children's playground, a well-stocked supermarket with wine on tap and fresh bread rolls from the bakery, a bar with very reasonable prices (latte macchiato EUR 1.20), an extremely good restaurant and a store for camping accessories. You really don't want for anything! The campsite has a total of over 400 pitches and 5 sanitary blocks. 4 of the wash houses are very old and in very poor condition. The wash house by the pool is brand new and in excellent condition. If the site is fully booked, I would be concerned about the situation with the wash houses (2 were also closed during our stay due to various defects). In the previous season, however, the site was only 10% full and everyone was able to use the new wash house without any problems. The campsite map showed a soccer pitch, a beach volleyball court and a dog shower. However, these did not yet exist. Presumably construction is planned. In general, the campsite is currently being renovated. The front third is already nicely renovated and looks great, the rear two-thirds are in a poor state. Mostly Italian permanent campers live here. A cycle path in the direction of Vada and Marina di Cecina is in the immediate vicinity. There are weekly markets here, which are really well stocked. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_FAZIT:\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ For us, Campo Dei Fiori is one of the most beautiful campsites, we have been to so far. Once all the wash houses have been modernized and the soccer pitch, dog showers and rear pitches have been properly built, the site will definitely deserve 5 stars. It will probably be another 3-5 years before it is finished.Automātiski tulkots.
- Marc W.June 2019PozitīviNice staff and beautiful grounds. Easy to find. Dogs allowed.NegatīvaisWe have been eaten by mosquitoesTour through TuscanyWe came by spontaneously and were able to choose between numerous pitches. The site is really nicely done and has a great pool area. It's a good 10-minute walk to the sea. There are plenty of opportunities to take the dog for a walk. The store is well equipped. The pitches are also easy to access with... a large motorhome. The site is currently being extended. As far as the sanitary facilities are concerned, I am of two minds. There is a brand new building (near the pool). Great toilets and showers. But there are also older sanitary "buildings" which were exactly the opposite. Bicycle rental on site.Automātiski tulkots.
- Tobias N.September 2018PozitīviVery good pool area, sea easily accessible, also large comfort pitches in the low season at the ACSI price (which is very low)Negatīvais- many mosquitoesNot directly by the sea but therefore recommended- Very nice, almost park-like campsite (incl. large sports field) with partly sunny and partly shady pitches. There are a few branches in the driveway, nothing serious, but they should be cut down. - Now in the low season (mid-September) there are also the large comfort pitches (10A + water) at the ACSI... price; the campsite closes on 30.09. Vehicles can be brought onto the pitches. - Dogs: several no problem, there is more than enough space to run around even on the campsite - very quiet campsite, at night you can hear the railroad line very quietly if the wind is right, but really only very quietly - Reception: IT, EN, DE, very nice and courteous - Sanitary facilities: there are several open, somewhat simpler sanitary facilities. They are all equipped differently: Shower cubicles with hooks only, shower cubicle with partition, shelf and hooks as well as large combination cubicles with squat toilet, washbasin and shower in the spacious cubicle. And at the really beautiful pool, there is a brick-built sanitary facility that is of a much higher quality but has hardly any shelves or hooks. This bathroom also has children's toilets. All sanitary facilities are clean. - Restaurant with lovely terrace, bar next door (open before 08:00, cappuccino €1.20), all renovated in the last 5 years. The combined electricity and water columns at our pitch (10A) were e.g. from 2017 - WIFI: good reception at the pitch (transmission masts approx. 2-3 in every second path), but very expensive (1 week 20€ one user, 3 users 35€ for one week). At the restaurant there is free WIFI with slow, just sufficient performance if you check the 'world situation' at the café in the morning. - Anti Brum Forte is needed, lots of mosquitoes. - The way to the beach is through the beautiful pine forest with picnic areas on the other side of the road, 836m to walk from reception, bicycles are also possible. There are sun loungers and chairs for hire and a beach café. Further to the left is a public beach. Dogs on leads allowed. Fine sandy beach, shallow sea. The public part also has slightly coarse sand and the beach is somewhat narrower.Automātiski tulkots.
- vo h.September 2015Pozitīviplenty of space, quiet during the day, friendlyNegatīvaisEvening entertainment programs at neighbouring campsites, mosquitoes2 beautiful weeksWe were on this site at the beginning of September, compared to the stopover in Lazise it was not so crowded here, free pitches to the right, left and behind us, a large meadow in front of us - year! During the 2 weeks, a few campers came and went, including groups of young people (it's cheap after all),... but they behaved themselves. Friendliness goes down well with the locals. For the permanent campers, the season seems to end at the end of August. Although the sun was still shining every day and the thermometer rose to 26°C, many places were dismantled and packed up. The slightly longer walk to the sea was a welcome change, but the swimming was not without its dangers. Our daughter was grazed on the leg by a jellyfish and had to deal with the after-effects for a long time. Due to the many drainage ditches, there are also mosquitoes, which became a nuisance, especially in the evening. But we were well equipped and the store on the campsite is too. Free Wi-Fi is available near the reception. The toilets are cleaned once a day around 10:00, and toilet seats can also be purchased in the store. The entertainment programs of the neighbouring campsites started regularly at ten in the evening, but that's the way it is in Italy, some people want to have fun, others want peace and quiet. If you've had a nice day, 1-2 hours of noise from afar hardly bothers you.Automātiski tulkots.
- Maike P.August 2015PozitīviLarge, offers everything you needNegatīvaisSanitary facilities, loud music in the evening, no beach accessLarge square with a good pizzeriaIt offers everything you need for a one-night stopover. When we arrived it was raining and quite muddy, so our first impression was not too positive. However, the staff were very friendly and there is everything from a swimming pool to a playground. As there is no access to the beach, we will probably not stay here again. But OK for 1-2 nights, animation and loud music late into the night...Automātiski tulkots.
- Geurtz D.July 2015PozitīviGreat pool, all the staff very friendly and helpful.Nice campsite in a quiet location and very friendly staffWe stayed at this campsite for 2 nights in July 2015. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a large, shady pitch right by the pool. You walk about 600m to the sea, first along a tarred road and then through a small wood. Sun loungers and umbrellas available by the sea, but no problem even... without and plenty of space. Very long, very shallow water. You can take a little train to the next village. The sanitary facilities were always clean. We felt very comfortable and welcome.Automātiski tulkots.
- Markus M.July 2013We have been to this campsite 8 times. Has many Italians as permanent tenants. A few large pitches with shade. Pool and sanitary facilities are very simple and old. There are plans to build a new pool in 2013. New in 2012 with free WLAN near the reception. Also new since 2012, payment by credit card... possible. This campsite is completely ok for our requirements. We kept looking at other campsites in this region, but they were either much more expensive (second to highest season) or the pitches were much smaller. Or you are not even allowed to set up a gas barbecue yourself. That's why this campsite is right for us and we will be staying here again in 2014 for the 9th time in a row.Automātiski tulkots.
- fabienne A.August 2012Typical Italian family campsite. Quiet (not much entertainment). Nice pool, free tennis. Shady pitches. On-site supermarket and takeaway restaurant. Beach a 10-minute walk away. Not bad at all!Automātiski tulkots.
