- Andreas und Petra S.June 2015"The Caravan Club"We hadn't made a reservation and weren't club members, so the air was getting thin, as non-members pay an extra 10 pounds. Fortunately, we dug out a "Camping Key Europe" from Norway from last year and we were allowed to choose a pitch without any extra charge. The pitches usually consist entirely of... gravel with small grassy areas, but these only serve as boundaries. As far as I could see, there are only very (very) few areas available for campers. In mid-June we paid a reasonable 16 pounds for a motorhome with 2 people (incl. electricity). Dogs and showers free of charge. Overall, a very decent site with good sanitary facilities and a nice dog walking area. Unfortunately no WiFi available.Automātiski tulkots.
- Michael R.August 2013Very well-equipped site in a very remote and lonely, but very beautiful region. The sanitary facilities are very clean and spacious, and there are washing machines and drying rooms. There are two kiosks next door (selling useful mosquito hats), a highly recommended café with a great typical breakfast... and a hotel with an excellent and cozy bar. The site itself is actually designed for caravans and only offers guests with tents a maximum of 5/6 pitches on the small meadow areas with table and bench seating, but this is unbeatably cheap. A good starting point for mountain climbs (Beinn Eighe Mountain Trail; visitor center 3 minutes away by car), a visit to Inverewe Garden or for activities on Loch Maree.Automātiski tulkots.
