Trips to Lake Ossiach or Lake Wörthersee are easily possible. Finally, congratulations to the operators, they operate a modern check-in and check-out system. The friendly family that runs the site contributes to the pleasant atmosphere....
The facilities are tiptop and completely adequate. You have direct access to the lake, which is pleasantly warm - ideal for children to splash around in or for SUPs.

As it was unfortunately full, I spent a night without electricity on a very well-kept meadow. The next day I moved into my pitch with electricity. There was also a disabled WC incl. shower (also for wheelchair users) at the campsite. Thanks for that. Excellent food in the restaurant. Sanitary cleanNegatīvaisVery noisy during the day Pitches a bit confusingWrong date chosen - parking space was not idealWe were there at a time when there were a lot of families with children. Also self-inflicted because we were still on vacation. Had thought when booking that there would not be so many families on a rather small site. We with dog had a place on 2 paths. It was always busy. The kids were constantly riding... their bikes up and down the paths. Babies were bawling from all sides.
The dog beach is located in a lido. So it has nothing to do with the campsite. Many other people come here with their dogs, as the possibility of dog bathing areas is very rare. There is almost nothing at Lake Ossiach and Lake Wörthersee either.
The layout of the pitches is a bit confusing. Tents between caravans and motorhomes. You are forced to look into other people's awnings. Unless you have a piece of shore. They are relatively undisturbed.

Thank you for your feedback, although we are a little surprised at the rather mediocre rating.
We are pleased that you were satisfied with our service (sanitary facilities, breakfast, restaurant).
The fact that there are families with children at the campsite during the summer vacation period... and that other dog owners also use the dog beach is not really a big surprise, but I would have liked to have told you that when you made your reservation. However, we also have the campsite open before and after the summer vacations, so it's a bit quieter then. The same probably applies to every other campsite from the Adriatic to the North Sea.
The pitches are clearly parceled out and, with a few exceptions, it doesn't really make a difference to us whether there is a tent, a caravan or a camper van on the pitch. Of course, it wouldn't have been a problem to offer you an alternative to the allocated pitch on arrival. I personally found it very suitable for dog owners as it is one of the few that also has shade during the day. However, if we are not informed of such requests, there is nothing we can do.
We are pleased that you took the time to rate us.
It's just a shame that it turned out the way it did due to factors beyond our control.
I guess we would have scored one point less if it had been raining...
