- Irmgard F.July 2018Positive tingbeautiful location really large pitches Clean sanitary facilitiesNegative tingpoor WLANbeautifully situated campsiteThe campsite is beautifully situated on the Dourbie. There are various pitches. We had a very nice pitch by the river. The town of Millau is within walking distance. The staff are very friendly, but not always competent. The sanitary facilities were always clean and modern for France. Fresh, delicious... baked goods were available in the small store. The area is beautifully scenic and invites you to go on interesting tours. We really enjoyed our vacation there. We didn't use the entertainment. Our dog also felt at home. The river was very refreshing.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen H.August 2015Beautifully situated campsiteNice clean and large pitches. But very shady in places. View of the bridge and the surrounding rocks. Friendly staff, breakfast must be ordered the day before. Wonderful surroundings for cycling or hiking!Automatisk oversatt.
- Peter K.June 2015Positive tingclose to the city, large parking spacesNegative tingtoo little peace and quiet, dogs running freeCampsite with flawsWe stayed at this campsite from 21.6.15 to 4.7.15. It could actually be a very nice campsite. But there were a few peculiarities. Suddenly, without warning, hundreds of young people with hundreds of small tents arrived at the campsite on Fridays. The reason was a major event in Millau for 3 days. That... was the end of the peace and quiet, during the day and unfortunately also at night. These young people returned from the event at around 3am, not at all quietly, and then continued partying on the campsite until 6am. The supposed security service, which we never saw, was supposed to keep things quiet according to reception, but nothing happened. Even daily complaints did nothing to change the situation. A number of campers probably left as a result. Otherwise, the campsite was only occupied by about 10%, many of whom were passing through. Perhaps there were other reasons for the low occupancy rate: it is apparently common for campers to play boules until 3 a.m., contrary to the regulations, and for others to party all night long. You won't find the advertised peace and relaxation on this campsite. Dogs must be kept on a lead, but some were not. Dogs are not allowed on the campsite's own beach on the Dourbie - which didn't bother some dog owners at all. The town of Millau with its stores and restaurants is highly recommended. The whole area is excellent for hiking, boating, paragliding and other activities.Automatisk oversatt.
- R. K.August 2013Large site located directly on the river, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip. Ideal place to explore the beautiful surroundings. Overnight stay in August 22,--€/person. Sanitary facilities are spacious and clean, but as is often the case in the south of France, there are no toilet seats and you have... to bring your own toilet paper. WLAN only free of charge near the pool, very expensive on the pitches: 30 minutes 3,--€. Tip for travelers to the south: Leave Millau before the bridge (you save yourself the bridge toll), fill up cheaply in Millau at a supermarket petrol station, if necessary stay overnight here in Millau and get back on the freeway in the south of Millau.Automatisk oversatt.
- E. I.September 2012Beautiful, quiet site on a tributary of the Tarn. The pitches are large and level and partly bordered by hedges. Some have a view of high mountains, the river Dourbie and the Millau viaduct. The site has a large, heated outdoor pool. The town of Millau is two kilometers away and there is a well-maintained... cycle path. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Free Wi-Fi in the reception area. Very good value for the comfort offered. We paid a full price of €14.00 per day in September. The supermarket belonging to the campsite was already closed at the beginning of September, but there is a small store at reception where you can order bread.Automatisk oversatt.
