Everything is beautiful there, the space, the water and the beach

Camping site Eilenburg
The place is very good. The price-performance ratio is great, everything is included in the price (electricity and showers). The water is simply crystal clear, you can see the fish below you. The beach is great, only fine sand and always clean. The team there is very nice. The only thing missing is the... bread roll service. But you can get to the supermarket quickly by bike. The catering on the pitch is a bit poor. But there's always something to eat at the weekend. We were there for 7 weeks and it was simply wonderful. We'll be back next year. It's also great for campers on a budget and you have everything you need.

Our relaxation oasis for the weekend
We often take our motorhome to Eilenburg at the weekend. It's pure relaxation after a hard day's work. We love the site because it is kept simple, but you still have everything you need.
The operators are always friendly.
There is food and drink on site and you can even do your shopping on foot.
We like to come here again and again.

inexpensive campsite
The large campsite is located directly next to the Eilenburg gravel pit and is mainly aimed at permanent campers. Two large, unparceled meadows are available for so-called "short-term campers". You should choose your pitch carefully here; there is a real risk of being burgled.

The staff are extremely... friendly and helpful and turn a blind eye whenever possible:
"Departure is until 11:00am, but if it's as empty as it is at the moment, 4:00pm is also okay. Then you still have something from the last day."
On the other hand, warnings such as "It can get loud at the weekend!" should be taken seriously. If there's a disco in the beach bar or at the water ski facility, the whole place is affected. Until well after midnight.

There are two sanitary buildings on the site, these should be locked, the door was usually wide open (thanks! To the other guests! It's totally uplifting when you're sitting inside!) The washrooms looked a bit poorly designed due to the temporary corona protective walls, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Corona.
The irregular water pressure for hot water was not so nice, here there were alternating showers whether you wanted them or not. The partition wall, behind which you can (actually) hang your things dry, also doesn't deserve its name due to its size.

The pricing is also interesting, because: electricity is INCLUSIVE here! Where else do you get that?

Very important: there is NO toilet paper!

The friendliness, you somehow feel right at home.

Nothing, if it annoys you, the flight path from Leipzig Halle goes over the campsite.
Been going there for years
I would love to come back, you just feel comfortable and for a beach vacation, everything is available, even a water ski facility.

Very friendly registration, bread roll service, water sports infrastructure on the lake

No toilet paper in the sanitary building (you get a roll at registration)
Camping and water sports
Mainly for permanent campers with a beautiful meadow (unparceled) for tents and caravans/mobile homes. Tent meadow directly on the supervised beach with playground, beach volleyball court, snack bar.

Water skiing facility 300m away, windsurfing club with rental 300m in the other direction. Basic but clean sanitary facilities.

By car 5 minutes to Eilenburg for shopping, restaurants etc.

Don't be put off by the ruins at the entrance ;-)

Neustadt Donau greets Eilenburg
We have stopped there several times on our tours to the north and the planned 1-2 days sometimes turned into a week. The site is located on a large quarry pond and the meadow at the back is used by tourists with tents, caravans or motorhomes. There are no fixed pitches, the area is so large that you... can find enough space even in the high season. And when it's not in season, you have the whole meadow to yourself, including the wonderful view of the lake :-). There is a snack bar with a terrace in the ambience of bygone GDR times, which gives the whole place a special flair. Of course, time has not stood still with the owners, everyone is very friendly, sandwiches can be ordered for the next day, or you can enjoy your meal with the aforementioned flair of the Ostalgie terrace. However, this is only open until midday in the low season. There is also a water-skiing facility, as well as 2 beach volleyball courts and table tennis tables. When going to the toilet, don't forget your key or toilet paper. You will be allocated a roll at reception. This then becomes the most valuable commodity during your camping stay and if you forget it... Apart from that, there is really nothing to complain about, I can only recommend the site!
