"New management - The campsite has reopened! There are no more permanent campers and no more mobile homes. Friendly welcome, young man at the Acceul who speaks very good English, supermarket about 1 km away.

In the beautiful departement of Aveyron there is a lovely campsite LE PORT DE LACOMBE near the river Lot, you can rent canoë, bike,...have fun in the pool with tobbogan...taste french food at the snack ...visit a lot of curiosities, …church, cave, village or castle...... Set on the banks of the River Lot, this newly equipped water sports centre offers canoe and pedal-boat hire and swimming-pool with a giant child-friendly water slide. Explore the surrounding Aveyron countryside by bike, on foot or on horseback, take a river cruise or venture further afield into the neighbouring departments of Lot or Cantal. The town of Conques, a staging post on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, is also within easy reach.
