- Jana L.August 2024PozytywneThis campsite has a soul.NegatywneThe shower could not be turned off, so a lot of water runs away for nothing.Wonderful campsiteYou have a wonderful, simple camping experience without lots of frills and excessive comfort. I like this focus on the essentials. The pitches are not parceled out, so you don't stand in rows, but in a colorful mix. The staff are very friendly, the food in the restaurant is great and really cheap. I would have liked to stay longer.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Tina X.August 2023PozytywneThe situationNegatywneThe sanitary facilities are outdated. That wouldn't be a bad thing in itself. However, they are very dirty.Sanitary cleanlinessDefinitely not 3 stars. Not even 1
Sanitary outdated and dirty.
Pitch very unkemptPrzetłumaczone automatycznie. - Sascha F.July 2022PozytywneLocation, bathing lake, mini market with a good selection, lots of shady spotsNegatywneSanitary facilities no longer up to date and in urgent need of renovation. Restaurant on site already overloaded with few guests, food also only solala and poor food offer.Idyllic but no longer up to dateSpecial feature: there are no pitches. This has the advantage that you can choose your pitch freely. But it also has the disadvantage that a nice fellow camper can park his mega caravan so close to the tent entrance that there is hardly any space left for a table and chairs. The sanitary facilities are... very clean, but hopelessly outdated. Overall, the whole place exudes the charm of a GDR children's holiday camp. If the price matched it would be okay, but 156 euros for 1 adult and 2 children in a large tent is comparable to much better places in the Harz Mountains. On the plus side, there is a small bar with a pool table and large-screen TV, so teens can also find something to do among their peers.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ralf N.June 2022PozytywneWe were able to choose our own pitch as there weren't many guests there yet. You can get a key for the showers and toilet for a deposit. There is a mini-market where you can order bread rolls for the next day. There is a sunbathing lawn with access to the lake for swimming or stand-up paddling, but not for the dog!NegatywneThe showers in the immediate vicinity were unfortunately cold due to a technical problem that I unfortunately had to experience. The showers are in need of renovation in my opinion. But otherwise very clean. Unfortunately, the smell of the previous room remains in the WC as the ventilation is ineffective. The motion detectors in the WC are unfortunately set a little short. But you can move around more often. No hot water for washing up, which our neighbors didn't like either. The dishwasher is not covered and therefore difficult to use in the rain.A solid experienceWe came especially because we had read that it was a great pond for dogs (photo with dog jumping into the water). But that's not the case! There is no proper shallow access for dogs to swim in. We are very disappointed. We came here especially for this.
Some of the staff could also be a bit friendlier when a guest has a request!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Andreas F.August 2020PozytywnePure nature, very secluded in the forest. The Selketalbahn train station is 1.5 km away.NegatywneAlthough we had already booked in January, stating the size of our tent caravan, we were only shown the area on the site map where we were allowed to pitch. No instruction on the pitch led to real difficulties at times. Parked caravans and the like. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years. Even the most modern sanitary block needs work. I personally don't like the shower tokens, but I can live with them if I can determine the temperature and breaks myself. We came to the campsite because it appeared to be dog-friendly. There is no dog beach, but there are no-dog signs and despite the €2.50/day charge for dogs, there is also a charge for the dog shower. The opening hours of the beer garden/restaurant are sad. During the week it is open until 7.30 pm and on Sundays only until 6.00 pm. So if you arrive late and are still setting up, you might find yourself in front of a closed restaurant.Price / performance does not fit.If the space matched the quality of the flyers and the website, it would be perfect. Investments should be made urgently and the concept revised. There is more to the glamping on offer.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Christina L.July 2020PozytywneDirectly on the small lakeNegatywneVery outdated. Sanitary facilities totally old.A different kind of vacationNever again....We have never experienced such behavior in 30 years of camping. We were at the campsite with our children and grandchildren (3 and 1.5 years old). The children had rented a bungalow, we had rented a pitch for our WOMO. The bungalow was said to have water damage, the children and grandchildren... were put in a bungalow at the garbage dump after hours of waiting. The next morning they were allowed to move to a bungalow by the lake. So they undressed in the morning, stripped the beds and waited until about 3 pm until the bungalow was free. At 3 p.m. we were told that the vacationer in the bungalow in question had extended their stay and that the children could move back into the bungalow next to the garbage. When we refused, the campsite manager said that he understood our anger and that he knew that this was below the belt, it was just no different. We asked for our money back, which we got in cash without any problems, but the children had to move into a hotel with their grandchildren, which you first have to find in July....... We also left this campsite with our WOMO.
You drive several hundred kilometers with two small children to find vacation and relaxation and then you have to live out of the car for two days, make and remake beds, wait for bungalows that are not available after all, we don't have to have a vacation like that again. We work far too hard all year round for that.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Lars R.July 2019PozytywneLocation by the lake, peace and quiet in beautiful natureNegatywneWC and shower cubicles partly not lockable and the communal showers without curtain or door.In the end, no recommendation from usFirst of all, important information for DCC members: this site is listed by the DCC as a Vorteilsplatz Plus (as of 2019), but this is apparently not known at reception. Even when we asked, we did not receive the Vorteilsplatz Plus price, we were given an invoice with a 5% discount. Only after our departure... and after the DCC took action against the site did we get the overpaid money refunded. The site itself is in a good location, the sunbathing lawn and lake are really nicely laid out. The pitches are unfortunately not parceled out, which sometimes leads to very cramped conditions, sometimes there was another caravan directly in front of our caravan/car after a walk, so that you were "built in". The sanitary facilities are ok. There are several wash houses. The toilets and showers in the upper wash house are new and clean. The fact that you don't insert the chip in the shower cubicle, but at the entrance to the washroom, took some getting used to for us (as did the 10-second timer for the lights in the toilet cubicles). During a longer "session", this sometimes requires acrobatic maneuvers if you don't want to sit in the dark. The facilities in the lower wash house are outdated and can also be unlocked from the outside during use (there used to be chains to lock them from the inside, but most of them have been torn off), which sometimes causes surprises when using the toilet or showering. You can buy chips for showering, but as soon as these are inserted in the individual wash cubicles, the water runs and cannot be turned on/off/hot/cold because there is no tap. At peak times, you are then sometimes standing under an ice-cold shower and lose your money because, as I said, it is not possible to switch off or return the chip. The children's bathroom is really nicely done, but unfortunately the baby bathtub is totally moldy, so we didn't want to wash our daughter in it. For washing dishes, there is an outside sink at each wash house, where there is only cold water. In the very outdated room where the washing machines/dryers are located, there are two more sinks where hot water is also available. Due to the location in the middle of the forest, there is no cell phone reception anywhere on the site and Wi-Fi is not available. The small store has everything you need and the bread rolls are very tasty! Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the Bremer Teich campsite as a whole.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Lutz S.May 2019PozytywnePeace, natureNegatywneNot really, just suggestions. A WLAN spot would be in keeping with the times, I would imagine showers as a cubicle.A place of peace and relaxationThe site is beautifully situated on a small forest lake with bathing facilities. The whole site is spacious, but the sanitary facilities are always easily accessible and very clean. (High praise). The pitches are either in the sun or in the shade. There are also pitches with electricity, water and drainage.... The manager and the whole team are very helpful and friendly. There is a store and a snack bar. There is also a rustic bar at the weekend. With the fees for the pitch, you get free travel on the buses in the Harz Mountains. I would ask the manager to always have notices for public transport in the future, as these are not so well organized in the entire Harz region. Showers are to be paid for separately, not so bad, but showers without curtains or doors are not everyone's cup of tea. Since Internet reception with a cell phone is impossible in most areas of the Harz, it would be timely if there was a spot at least at one point in the large facility to get information.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
