- Heinz S.May 2015Pozytywne- Attractive location in Exmoor - Friendly staff - Sanitary facilities old but cleanNegatywne- no grocery store (only the bare essentials)Well located campsite in LyntonAs a starting point for the beautiful EXMOOR, this CP is in an ideal to perfect location. 1 mile to the small town of Lynton on a well-signposted footpath. Starting point for great hikes and bike tours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The view of the Atlantic is breathtaking. We stayed for three... nights and made great trips on our Vespa into Exmoor from this CP. Nearest grocery store in Lynton. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years but spotlessly clean.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- detlef s.August 2012Quiet, natural campsite with basic sanitary facilities right next to Exmoor National Park. Very friendly and helpful operators, some hardstandings with water/waste water/electricity, meadow pitches and large meadows for tents without electricity. Wonderful views of the Bristol Channel. A small kiosk... has all sorts of things: C. accessories, hiking and postcards, stamps, a small café (where you can also get a breakfast). Wi-Fi with poor reception at the back of the site, but it is free. Right next door is a quaint hotel/pub with simple food, in the season there is live music outside on a small stage on Saturdays - young musicians can try their hand here (all genres). Very good hiking opportunities with wonderful views directly from the site. The easiest way to get there (with a large WW) is from Barnstable A39 - from the direction of Minehead/Porlock there is a signpost for Minehead/Porlock. Minehead/ Porlock there are a few steep 25% ! gradients with hairpin bends in Lynmouth and some single track sections (see also GoogleStreetView).Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
