- Ilona H.June 2024PositivosProximity to the lake and the townNegativosWe can't think of anythingVery nice placeWe arrived spontaneously in Torbole on our way from Tuscany. Very nice welcome on a small, cozy pitch, we'll be back. Nice sanitary building, very well-kept pitch. Perhaps a little cramped for very large vehicles, but we really liked it. Thanks to the team at 🫶🏼Traduzido automaticamente.
- Andrea R.August 2019PositivosNo more for meNegativosDespite repeated requests to stop the act, no help from the campsite owner. Good that we were back quickly, otherwiseDirty vacationI arrived at the campsite on Sunday. We were immediately bullied by a camper. Our motorhome was too big for him, 7.80. He didn't like the air conditioning, which he told us to turn off. From then on, he turned off our fuse every hour, even all night. The owner's solution is for us to turn the system... off from midnight to 7 a.m. (new rule) Our fuse continues to be blown and the owner does nothing. Air conditioning forbidden. Bullying allowed. Today we came home from shopping and our dog lay panting in the motorhome at 35 degrees, because the fuse was turned off again by our nice neighbor.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Thomas R.October 2018PositivosLocation to Torbole and Riva, sanis, pool, friendlinessNegativospossibly a little tightPool and topsanis on Lake GardaDrove up for a three-night stay in October and received a very friendly -also German-speaking- welcome. Even at this time a reservation - or at least calling in advance - seems to be highly recommended. The place is not very big and someone is always on vacation:) The pitches are good but quite narrow.... However, depending on the size of the vehicle, they are happy to help you find a suitable pitch when you book, as long as there is a choice. There are also smaller pitches that are really only suitable for campers. Topsanis in a new building in the middle of the site, where the pool is also located. There are no shops or restaurants. However, everything can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Just like the town of Torbole, which is a 10-minute walk away. As with almost all pitches here, there is no direct view of the lake. However, there is an extra exit that takes you straight from the pitch to the lake for strolling, swimming, lying on the pebble beach or cycling. The promenade runs all the way to Riva, which is a good 50-minute walk away. Of all the pitches here, this pitch made the most comfortable impression on me with a good crowd and a pleasant price-performance ratio in October.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Carola H.June 2018PositivosBeautifully planted, good location, brand new sanitary facilities, nice pool, lovely children's playground, relaxed people.NegativosNone.Super campsiteWe felt very comfortable. Pleasant fellow campers, very well-kept sanitary facilities, beautiful Mediterranean plants and finally people who are also traveling with a tent. There is no annoying and loud animation, but you can enjoy the view of the mountains in the evening.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Heiko B.October 2017PositivosLocation; leisure facilities, new sanitary facilities and outdoor pool which was open until the end of the seasonNegativosPlace was overbooked despite reservation and not everyone who had reserved got a place, we were luckyTop location with now good sanitary facilitiesAfter 3 years here again at the end of October/beginning of November 2017 and after the renovation of the sanitary facilities, I have to say that the CP has improved from 3 to 4 stars. The arrival on Saturday and the check-in despite reservation was very chaotic, there is no information which place is... reserved and when it is free, the access road was completely closed. The type of pitch we had booked was not available and we were allocated a smaller pitch which no longer fitted our car. The apartment owner, whose parking lot we were waiting in so as not to clog up the road, had a crisis because this happens every Saturday, although he was very friendly to us. The site was overbooked and several campers with reservations had to come back the next day. The CP owners still have their rough charm, but you can't say that they are unfriendly, but they are not cordial and open towards their guests either. But it fits! The new sanitary building now has good showers, hot water at all times and the facilities can be heated. It was cleaned several times a day. The outdoor pool was open until the end of the season! The occupancy rate in 2017 compared to 2014 at the end of October was much higher, it was also generally much busier on Lake Garda, without a reservation you had almost no chance of getting a pitch! For us it was a great vacation on a good CP that can still improve organizationally. Description 2014: The location makes it. Sanitary not heated and therefore cold late in the season. Cleaning is also not done very often. But one of the campsites that is still open. Somewhat rough charm of the owners which I think is normal in the region. You are not greeted even if you are recognized as a potential guest and later as a guest. The location makes it! Good price with Camp Card for the region.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Eva L.July 2015PositivosCentrally located,NegativosNo store or sale of bread rolls,Small square directly on Lake GardaThe site itself is in a super central location, as you are right on Lake Garda from there, in Torbole, there are lots of shops (Lidl, Coop...) and you can go on tours by bike. However, we missed the sale of bread rolls in the morning. The outdated sanitary facilities are cleaned daily, there is a bike rental service on site and the pitches can also be booked for large motorhomes.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Dennis J.June 2015PositivosClose to the beachNegativosSanitary facilities, noise levelNot for those seeking peace and quietSimple campsite with spartan sanitary facilities. Not for people looking for peace and quiet. Suitable for athletes, groups and families. Very busy in high season. Too few toilets for the amount of people, but 2x daily cleaning. Condition of "men's" sanitary facilities: unacceptable / condition of "women's" sanitary facilities: functional, but mostly clean. Mostly small pitches. Maxi pitches okay.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Mariano K.October 2014Located directly on the lakeSmall campsite located directly on the lake, just a few minutes' walk from the town center. Ideal for surfers and bikers. Beautiful walks along the lake promenade.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Harald Gerd V.September 2014PositivosShort walk to the beach, central location, shady spotsNegativosThe floor in the sanitary block was mostly damp and dirty despite constant cleaning. There was no rubber squeegeeRecommended campsiteThe price-performance ratio is very good. We hadn't booked in advance, even though we came in September. We were just lucky enough to get the last spot. This shows how popular the place is. The staff were very friendly.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Oliver K.June 2012Small site with approx. 75 pitches and a meadow for tents. The assessment of the sanitary facilities on the Internet was the deciding factor for us to choose Al Porto. On-site comparison with the neighboring campsites proved this to be the right decision. Small site with very nice staff. You could buy... bread rolls there in the morning, otherwise unfortunately no supermarket on the site, but in the immediate vicinity in Torbole itself. There was a small bar for breakfast or to have a drink in the evening. The place is mainly visited by surfers and bikers from ( D,CZ,AUT,NL,CH,I ). The place is about 100 meters from the lake. Good access for surfing. It is advisable to book from July. With 80 € deposit and e-mail confirmation no problem. Thanks again to Lorenzo and his team for the good service. We will definitely be back! Hang Loose !Traduzido automaticamente.
- Godehardt S.May 2012The campsite is just a two-minute walk from the beach on Lake Garda. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. Some good cycle paths (to the north and to Riva del Garda) for normal cyclists and very good mountain bike routes. Good hiking opportunities in the nearby mountains. A walk to the... nearby town of Riva del Garda is also not to be missed. The campsite staff are friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good order. The campsite is obviously frequented by many young sports enthusiasts (mountain biking, surfing).Traduzido automaticamente.
