- Peter L.April 2019PositivosGood location for sightseeing Clean and friendlyGood place close to the cityThe campsite is well located for visiting Luxembourg. We received a friendly welcome. We were also allocated a pitch. Located next to a park and quiet. Bus stop nearby (Alzingen, Trapeneck), but on Sundays the buses only run from there every hour. Another bus stop is a little further away, but there are more connections to the city (Hesperange, Am Keller). Possibly a little less water pressure in the shower for long-haired people ;)Traduzido automaticamente.
- J.I.M. B.September 2018Positivosclose to Luxembourg city. Located well on the route to the south.Negativosbusy road.noisy transit campgroundCamping Alzingen (Luxembourg). 1-09-2019 - 2-09-2019. Typical transit campground along a busy main road, but it fills up quickly. So register early. Receptionist speaks French German English. Pitches very large (250-300m2) to average. Pitches delimited by privet hedges with and without shade under lime... trees, chestnut beech. Water and electricity nearby. Beautiful toilet blocks, very clean. Laundry room with coin-operated machine. Playground equipment for small children somewhat outdated and in need of maintenance. Volleyball court. Free WIFI at the reception, Cafeteria at the campsite only open in the evening. Wheelchair friendly camping. Gas station nearby with small supermarket. Along the campsite a bicycle path that leads directly to the center.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Lisa C.July 2018PositivosVery clean facilitiesNegativosCan't book ahead of timeNice clean campsite, good pitchesI'm not a fan of campsites where you can't book in advance, but we took a punt on this one and I'm glad we did. Power was a bit of a stretch (across the lane) so we had to camp right at the front of the pitch, but otherwise it was a really nice campsite. Definitely catering for the motorhomes it was still nice for tents. Spotless facilities, timed (but free) showers. Def recommend.
- Roswitha R.June 2018PositivosGood place for sightseeingNegativosNo information about barrier opening times on the internet, closed from 20.00-08.00. Site should be vacated by 10.30.SightseeingIdeal place to visit Luxembourg City, bus stop about 200 meters away, gas station with store about 600 meters, bakery about 400 meters. Please note the barrier opening times, closed between 12.00 - 14.00 and there is no parking in front of the barrier, except to stay on the street. Lawn pitches are allocated, sanitary tip-top, small snack bar on site.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Nelli und Robert G.April 2018PositivosClose to the city. Clean and well-kept inexpensive pitchNegativosNone! Where can you find a hook where there is none?RecommendableWe received a very friendly welcome and were provided with all the important documents we needed to visit the city of Luxembourg by bike without being asked. The pitches are large and equipped with water and electricity. Super nice, well-kept sanitary facilities. Clean supply and disposal facilities.... We have rarely seen such a clean waste separation station. The small bistro invites you to a cozy end to the day. ACSI price (17 euros) is extremely reasonable for what is on offer.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jürgen K.September 2017PositivosQuiet location, beautifully designed place, good connection to Luxembourg City,NegativosEarly arrival is recommended. During our stay in the low season, the campsite was already full in the afternoon.A great placeThe ideal place for a visit to Luxembourg City. Visit the city by bus from the bus stop (200 m) to the city center. A large supermarket is 700 m away and a bakery 200 m. The site is surrounded by greenery but also offers spacious pitches on a meadow with grid stone strips, even for mobile homes up to... 10 m in length. The site is very well maintained and well lit at night. The sanitary facilities with disabled access are as good as new. A small bistro completes the offer. Gray water disposal only possible via column!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Andrea O.July 2017PositivosQuiet despite proximity to the highway.NegativosA pool can be used free of charge in the adjacent park. However, it is very small and hopelessly overcrowded.nice little placeThe campsite is very well maintained, the pitches are large. Sanitary facilities unfortunately only in container form, but spotlessly clean. Friendly reception with information. Small playground. Some pitches require long power cables. We would love to come again.Traduzido automaticamente.

- Heidrun S.July 2015PositivosProximity to the highway (which we did not hear)Negativos-More than just a "transit point"We stayed at this campsite twice in 2015. Our first visit was just passing through for 1 night. We were so impressed that we stayed here again a few weeks later for several days. I can only agree with the previous speakers. Concerts are also held in the adjacent city park. The cycle route around Luxembourg City runs right next to the square. The Alzette valley is great for hiking and cycling.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Peter S.June 2015PositivosClose to the highway, clean sanitary facilities.NegativosNone !!!Well-kept campsiteWe stopped at the campsite for an overnight stay. Very conveniently located close to the highway and yet quiet. Friendly welcome at reception in German. Beautifully maintained pitches, partly separated by hedges. Very clean sanitary facilities. Free WLAN. There is a playground for the little ones. We felt very comfortable.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Ute C.April 2015PositivosCentrally located to the highway. Very clean sanitary facilities.Clean and beautiful place for a small priceVery friendly welcome at reception in German. The site makes a very well-kept impression. Pitches of different sizes, some bordered by hedges, some free and sunny and shady pitches. Playground and beach volleyball court available. Very clean sanitary building, only drawback for me: there is only one... single wash cubicle. Otherwise a highly recommended site with free Wifi, only 4 km from the highway and therefore ideal for those passing through. We would definitely also recommend it for a visit to Luxembourg City, but unfortunately we didn't have enough time.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Patrick S.June 2014Positivosvery cheap, nice staff, quiet, clean, good connection to LuxembourgNegativosFew sinks, no kiosk on the pitchA great place not just for passing throughWe stayed at this campsite for two days to visit Luxembourg. You are greeted very nicely at the reception, which is located in a small wooden house at the entrance. As in most of Luxembourg, French, English and German are spoken here. On arrival, you are also provided with the most important information... straight away. In addition to the site rules, there is also a map of Luxembourg and the current bus timetable. The bus stops almost directly in front of the site. The site is manageable, but very pleasant as it is not overcrowded. Some of the pitches are generously separated by hedges, while others are somewhat smaller and without boundaries. We had a nice large pitch with a hedge. There isn't shade everywhere, but there are always trees. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the on-site sliders are often used, which is good for cleanliness. There are 3 shower cubicles, which was good enough. (The pitch was full) However, the showers are closed at 22:30 until 6:00. This is not a problem, but you have to be aware of it. Unfortunately, there are only two wash-up sinks, which is a bit tight during rush hour, so there were sometimes queues. A small snack bar invites you to linger. However, you won't find a kiosk here. However, there is a supermarket right in front of the site and on Sundays and public holidays fresh bread rolls can be bought at the nearby petrol station. The site is surrounded by a park and there is a beach volleyball court next to it. There is a decent playground directly on the site. All in all, it's a great place. The price is unbeatable and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The whole place is super clean and very pleasant. Highly recommended!Traduzido automaticamente.
