- Ruth F.August 2017Positivos-dreamlike landscape -quiet -large squaresNegativosSanitary facilitiesA place in a fantastic location at the end of the worldThe location: The site is located on the approx. 130-hectare Lac de Panthier, an artificial reservoir surrounded by large areas of forest and meadows in the middle of "nowhere". The landscape is beautiful. Of course, the location also means that you have to travel further for any activity. There isn't... much going on in the surrounding villages either; if you want to do something, you have to drive to Dijon or Beaune. This visit is definitely worth it! The pitches: The pitches are located on two parts of the site. One part stretches along the lake. The second part is terraced. The pitches on the second part of the site are pleasantly large. You can easily pitch a large caravan + awning + sleeping tent. There are lots of trees on the site, so there is plenty of shade. Bathing: At Lac de Panthier there is a small pebble beach with a separate bathing area. There is plenty of space here during the week. At the weekend, this is a popular destination for people from the surrounding area, so it is correspondingly crowded. The swimming pool is located at the back of the site. There is a paddling pool and a somewhat algae-covered extra pool with a slide that has seen better days. The larger pool had to be serviced during our stay (pump failure?). The water was squeaky green; the pool was closed after a day of green water. The repair was done after the weekend. The water was then so cold that our children no longer wanted to use the pool. We did not use the indoor pool. Leisure: Behind the pool there is a ball court with a somewhat battered volleyball net. There is a sailing and surfing school on site. However, there is very little wind up there, so it's not really suitable for a surfing or sailing vacation. The walk around the lake is about 5 km long and you can walk around the lake in complete peace and quiet - beautiful! For cycling, you should have a mountain bike with you. The area is very hilly. The flat cycle path along the Canal de Bourgogne is about 5 km away; there are a few small hills to overcome on the way there. The Burgundy countryside is very beautiful and there are lovely old villages, castles and abbeys to visit all around. The team: The people at the reception were very friendly; there is a French-speaking entertainment program in high season, but we did not make use of it. Shopping: The small store on site provides good coissants, bread and drinks. Otherwise, there are supermarkets in the nearby town (approx. 10-15 minutes by car). Food and drink: There is a restaurant on the campsite with a nice large outdoor terrace. The pizzas there are good; the service is friendly. What is missing is a bar/café where you can just sit down for a drink. Internet: The Wifi on site is chargeable and quite expensive. The internet connection is quite slow. The guests: The guests on the campsite were mainly Dutch. Otherwise there were French and English families. There were very few German guests. There are many families with small children on the campsite; it is nice for children up to the age of ten. They can run around relatively undisturbed and whizz around on their bikes without any danger. Older children should enjoy reading :). If you are looking for non-stop Rumtata animation, you are definitely in the wrong place. Many of the guests use the campsite for a few days while passing through. As a result, there is a lot of fluctuation on the site The sanitary facilities: the positive: ...they are sufficiently available. They were also cleaned. There is enough hot water for showering. The negative: The sanitary buildings are semi-open. Due to the rather humid climate up there, it is also always a little damp in the buildings. Almost all of the washbasins (in individual cubicles) are somehow attached. There are no mixer taps in one of the wash houses. The toilets used to hang on the wall and were then replaced by floor-standing toilets. The drill holes from the predecessors were still visible. The water supply is provided by overhead water tanks with pull cords. Most of the original pull cords have been torn off and replaced with hemp straps. The toilet paper dispensers are somewhat special. You should have paper with you just in case. The shower cubicles are separated by partitions. There is little storage space for clothes and towels. Improvisation is required. The cleaning team comes regularly. It is cleaned with a water hose up to a height of 1 m, but you get the impression everywhere that it is not really clean. This is of course exacerbated by the "basic condition" of the buildings. Nevertheless, the campsite has four stars. Conclusion: Once we got used to the sanitary facilities, we had a nice, relaxed, quiet vacation. We saw a lot of Burgundy and enjoyed the peace and quiet by the lake.Traduzido automaticamente.
- gregory m.August 2014Positivosthe lake and various swimming pools mini-market various campsite services (grocery, bread, snack bar, restaurant)Negativosunsupervised swimming pool! pitches difficult to access due to slopes and dampness isolation of the campsitecampsite with heated indoor pool, lake and outdoor poolone week in august 2014 with cold and rainy weather. - Dieter S.August 2013Pleasant place, centrally located for bike tours, hikes, excursions and relaxing. Friendly, German-speaking staff. Small indoor pool with even smaller sauna (very limited opening hours, swimwear compulsory!) Acceptance of CampingCheques from 17.8., therefore very good value for moneyTraduzido automaticamente.
- Peter P.May 2013The site has a wonderful location on the lake. Reception is very friendly and German is also spoken. The sanitary facilities were not so good due to the weather. Surroundings well suited for cycling, Burgundy Canal cycle path about 3 km away. The site is divided into two parts, with a large marquee in the front area where larger groups sometimes celebrate in the evening. Shopping facilities in 2 supermarkets approx. 7 km away.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michael P.May 2013Beautiful location, sanitary facilities old but clean. Be careful with pitches right at the front of the lake, there is a risk of sinking in when it rains a lot. During our stay, several camper vans had to be pulled out of the mud.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Heike H.August 2012The site is divided into two parts. On the first part of the site (here are some beautiful pitches with lake views) is the reception, small supermarket, small indoor pool, restaurant (recommended) and a tent where the entertainment program takes place. The 2nd part of the site is a little further away... from the lake. There are 2 not too large pools. The Lac de Panthier is a water reservoir for the Canal de Bourgogne (cycle path). The towns of Beaune and Dijon are approx. 40 km away. The 1st part of the campsite was surprisingly full despite the low season (end of August). Conclusion: campsite with large pitches in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired. The showers are still ok, there was always nice warm water. Despite being cleaned three times a day, the toilets are not very inviting. Replacing the toilet brushes wouldn't cost the earth and would be a first step.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Detlef P.August 2011Place does not deserve 4 stars: sauna only in the morning from 10 - 12 o'clock; indoor pool tiny; outdoor pools only children's paddling pool - not for swimming, lake and beach dirty - not inviting; Wifi only at the reception; mobile homes slightly rotten and 400 meters from the reception / indoor pool... / restauarant (over a road); pools nice for children between 3 and 8 years; area beautiful; very quiet and good air; store on the square excessively overpriced; MH even in September still 80, - Euro / night . We had hoped for more from 4 stars - the enchanting Burgundy makes us forget the shortcomings of the place ...Traduzido automaticamente.
- Kari w.August 2010Location very nice, noisy during the day near the children's playground, sanitary facilities rather old but clean not gender separated. Staff friendly and helpful wifi unfortunately only in the reception? should be possible today on the whole place (4 stars).Traduzido automaticamente.
- Klaus Z.June 2010Very idyllic site located directly on a reservoir. The pitches are all very large and clearly laid out. Only the entrance and exit of the site could be tight for larger caravans or motorhomes. The facilities on the site itself are excellent. The outdoor pool, indoor pool and sauna are included in the... overnight stay at no extra cost. Although the sanitary facilities are getting on in years, they are cleaned several times a day. The staff on the site are more than friendly. Rarely have I encountered such helpfulness. If you are looking for peace and quiet with all the comforts, this is the place for you!Traduzido automaticamente.
