- Jürgen K.June 2024PositivosWe found a very well-maintained facility, and we felt welcome as soon as we registered, and the sanitary facilities are in very good condition. There is a small "kiosk" if you have forgotten something. There is also a bread roll service.NegativosI can't think of anything to say. This is how a campsite should beWe got a parking space for our minivan at short notice, we liked it so much that we would have liked to stay longer, the complex is lovingly laid out and the location is ideal for hiking and other excursions.
Even a spontaneous bike tour is no problem with the bike rental.Traduzido automaticamente. - Markus J.April 2024PositivosPitches large, quiet, sanitary very clean, owners very nice and courteous, ideal starting point in the Hainich National ParkNegativosSomething could be done about the snack bar or café.Great little campsiteWe were very happy there. - Silke A.October 2023PositivosVery well-kept facility overall and very nice operators, modern and always clean sanitary facilities.NegativosThere is nothing negative to reportVery nice campsiteWe liked the lovely decorations right at the entrance. You can feel that you are welcome. Very nice and hard-working operator who guarantees his guests a pleasant and great stay. The sanitary facilities are, without exception, clean and up to date. Super well-kept and beautiful large pitches, bread roll... service on site and shopping facilities nearby, what more could you want. Great excursion destinations and hiking opportunities, there's never a dull moment. We will definitely be back.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Karl Heinz O.May 2023Positivos-Location -PersonnelNegativos-Sanitary facilities undersizedOf course I'll be back!Situated above the village of Weberstedt, the campsite impresses visitors as soon as they enter with a view that extends far beyond Mühlhausen, which is around 15 km away. The approx. 3 km long hiking trail to the treetop path starts just a few hundred meters away; the challenging 25 km long circular... cycle path starts right at the entrance to the campsite.
The sufficiently large pitches on the slightly sloping terrain are terraced with a height difference of approx. 50cm to the neighbor and mostly grassy areas. My own pitch was slightly gravelled, but that wasn't a disadvantage as I could usually push the pegs in by hand.
In general, the whole site is designed with a lot of love: a large "Welcome!" bed greets guests, water features are scattered around the site, a large playground burns off the energy of the little ones... Sometimes it was fun just to stand there and look at the place, often enough chatting with the neighbors and with a beer in my hand.^^
The bakery van comes every morning (usually without pre-ordering!), but it's so popular that the first ones are probably already finished with breakfast by the time the last ones get their rolls.
Nothing to complain about? Hmmm... but there is!
The power outlets are probably a little tight, and there have been a few "Have a go, can you?" moments.
And unfortunately, the sanitary facilities have to be described as undersized. While the showers were quite adequate, there were regular traffic jams at the toilets (even in the men's area) and sinks. 3 sinks for 80+ pitches are simply not enough.
And now for some high-level complaining: the entrance is quite narrow. If 2+ caravans are waiting here, it is difficult to leave the site again. Perhaps a waiting area on the road could help to ease the situation.
On a positive note, however, I have to emphasize the boss! He personally takes every new arrival to their pitch, shows them where to park, pushes withTraduzido automaticamente. - Ralf S.May 2023PositivosHiking in all directions in the Hainich Nature Park, cycling tours in all directions. The very well-kept outdoor facilities.NegativosPerhaps a small snack bar or a small restaurant would be a good idea.A wonderful spot on earthWe felt very comfortable right from the start and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The outdoor area is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are barrier-free and clean.

The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The campsite team was very friendly. There are surprisingly many possibilities from the campsite: hiking, cycling, treetop path, outdoor pool and a bit of inner-German... history with the renaturalized training area behind you ... to name just a few. We can recommend the site with a clear conscience if you want to spend a quiet, natural or active vacation.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Micha V.March 2022PositivosCleanliness 1*, great excursion options, no annoying pressing of buttons in the showersNegativos...we could not find anyClean, well-kept and very friendlyWe also chose this site for a spontaneous weekend trip.
After a friendly welcome, we had a free choice of pitches, which is normal here. Electricity and water were easily accessible on one of the terraced pitches.
All around, everything is very well-kept and tidy. The wash house, which is almost equidistant... from all pitches, is very clean and second to none. There is also a small kiosk, which is limited to emergency items. The playground is quite easy to see from most pitches. There are no restaurants on site, but there are some in the town, which is about 1km away. However, we did not check this out.
You can go on several hikes and bike rides from the site. Information material is available at the reception. We were at the treetop path, which can be reached after about 3km walk through the forest. You should definitely take a look, including the great children's playground with restaurant and beer garden.
All in all, we had a very quiet and relaxing weekend and will definitely be back again.Traduzido automaticamente. - Bert N.March 2022PositivosVery well-kept campsite, lovingly laid out and everything very clean, we would love to come back.NegativosFew power boxes, some power cables longer than 25m required.Highly recommended! We stayed at the campsite for a spontaneous weekend trip and really enjoyed it. - Barbara W.October 2021PositivosVery spacious pitches, always clean sanitary facilitiesNegativoscateringquiet location, for nature loversThe campsite is very quietly situated on a hill. (great views) You can choose your pitch freely and there is plenty of space. Showers and toilets always clean. The reception was friendly. The place is very well suited for hikes in the Hainich, e.g. to the treetop path. Cycling tours to Bad Langensalza... and Mühlhausen are possible.
Unfortunately there is no catering on the site, the kiosk was closed due to Corona and there was no bread service. A well-kept and lovingly designed site with spacious pitches and almost always a great view of the surrounding valley. Attractive sanitary facilities and always clean. Many hiking trails start directly at the site. Especially nice when camping with dogs, which are welcome here. - Franziska F.August 2021PositivosQuiet location, good starting point for hikes and excursions, bread roll service, cleanliness, very nice operators, free choice of pitches, lovingly decorated campsite, pets free of charge, free showersNegativosNonePerfect place to relaxWe received a very warm welcome after the office opened (after 6pm). The campsite is attractive, lovingly decorated and modern. We were free to choose our pitch and opted for one on a large meadow in the immediate vicinity of the sanitary building. This is cleaned thoroughly, really thoroughly, once... a day and checked several times a day to make sure there is enough toilet paper and paper towels. Toilets, showers, disposal of the chemical toilet and the sinks are in top condition and very clean!
Several times a week, a baker's van comes to sell delicious rolls/bread, both ordered and not ordered. There is a nice playground for children.
The campsite is also a good starting point for hikes and excursions with and without children.
There are several shops and restaurants in Bad Langensalza, 10 km away.
It's a great place to relax and unwind.Traduzido automaticamente. - Martin T.July 2021Positivos- Operator and campers very friendly - super well-kept place - Sanitary very clean and modern - large pitches - fantastic bread roll service (huge selection!)Negativos- noneGreat campsite - beautiful areaAfter we were able to reserve a pitch very easily, we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful operator. We were able to take our time to look around and find a pitch that we liked. The campsite is very well maintained (lawn and paths) and offers a wonderful view of the Thuringian Basin. It is also... located directly on the circular trail through the Hainich. The Hainich is a beautiful nature reserve that you can explore on foot or by bike.
The sanitary facilities are modern and always well-maintained - of course, their use is limited at the moment due to the restrictions - but the operator can't do anything about that. The permanent campers were all very friendly and helpful.
The site offers wonderful peace and quiet in the middle of nature - no noisy main road, highway or railroad line nearby. It also has lots of nice details, such as stylish seating areas and a small bathing area.
Nearby (10 km) is the town of Bad Langensalza, which has a beautiful historic town center and a little further Mühlhausen - also worth a visit. The circular cycle path / hiking trail is great and easy to cycle on. We really liked it there!Traduzido automaticamente. - Ute S.June 2021PositivosGreat landscape, many sights are within easy reach. Clean, well-kept and inexpensive (takes ACSI Card with 7 = 6 and 14 = 12)NegativosSometimes frogs croak at night. But not always.Super nice, well-kept campsiteSuper idyllic campsite under private management. Sanitary facilities tip top clean. Free choice of pitches with electricity. Chemical toilet disposal, bread roll service on site. Lovingly landscaped corners with flowers and benches - really very nice. The only downside: there is a pond with frogs nearby.... They can croak quite loudly. But that doesn't happen every day. The beauty of nature makes up for this. There is a gigantic view into the distance from almost every pitch. We will definitely be back. - Ludwig K.October 2020PositivosNear the Hainich National ParkNegativosToo few toiletsStarting point to the Hainich National ParkThe site is situated on a slope with mostly terraced pitches. Some with water connections. However, there are also unstructured pitches on a meadow, some of which are a little sloping. Sanitary was always clean but with 3 sitting toilets + 3 urinal basins + 1 toilet at the reception for the place a little... less, which leads to waiting times especially in the morning. The reception was a bit unfriendly and not communicative. The lady was probably having a bad day. Apart from visiting the national park, we didn't find any other interesting leisure activities. The hiking trails are sparse, the cycle paths are more for mountain bikers.Traduzido automaticamente.

We received a friendly welcome from the operator and were accompanied throughout our stay.
The site is lovingly laid out with flowers, fountains and seating... areas for the general public.
Everyone can choose their own pitch according to their space requirements. There is enough space for everyone.
The sanitary facilities are always perfectly clean,
