"Not recommended - What an unfriendly campsite owner. The location is the only positive thing about the whole campsite. Where do I start? As you can't reserve a pitch in advance, we just drove there. My friend and I asked if they had any vacancies. She was very stroppy and said no. Our couple friend went back half an hour later and luckily her husband was there. He was very friendly and let us in. Another 8 campers drove up after us. Why was there no space before? Does the woman not want to do her job? She urgently needs to learn how to be customer-friendly. The sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired. The first evening we showered at 8.45 p.m. and unfortunately only cold water came out. You pay one franc for three minutes in the shower. You also have to pay for hot water to wash up. The hardest part was paying at the end. We were there with a tent, our friends with a camper and a huge awning. We were there for 7 nights and paid CHF 296.70 and our friends paid CHF 314.00 for 8 nights. On what grounds? When asked, the old lady became very unfriendly again. The internet only shows the price for a small tent (5CHF), then you assume that a large tent costs 10 CHF. I told her the same thing. She responded. The prices for the large tent are not on the Internet, so I can make prices as I like. You always learn from your mistakes. No matter where, next time I'll ask for the prices beforehand. We will definitely never book this campsite again and I cannot recommend it in any way.

"Twice enjoyed a few relaxing days - We spent a few very relaxing days at the campsite twice (end of August and beginning of September 2021). The location on Lake Lucerne is magnificent. We were given a very friendly welcome and experienced a lot of goodwill and courtesy. The bistro terrace is a popular and cozy meeting place for the campers and residents and is lovingly and enthusiastically run. It's a place where people like to sit and chat. All in all, we felt extremely comfortable and really enjoyed our time there.

"The view of the lake brings it out - The view of the lake is what makes this place special. Large sunbathing lawn and direct access to the lake. Lots of permanent campers, but they don't bother you. The site is very quiet. You pay extra for hot water at 1.- per 3 minutes. Which is rather questionable given the high pitch prices. The sanitary facilities were only clean at first glance. (A blood stain was left uncleaned on the floor for 2 days) The place is quiet and in 20min walk or 7min bus ride is the Schuffstation and reachable. At first glance, everything seems very uncomplicated, but this remains at first glance. The operators were rather unfriendly to us, although we behaved very friendly and decently. If we asked anything at reception, we were told that we were annoying and shouldn't disturb them while smoking and drinking. We enjoyed our stay very much, but will not come back here again.

"Underground reception - It is inexplicable to me why only motorhomes and caravans are welcome there. Reservations are not possible, but the prices for tents are available on the website, and the site plan is not up to date on the website. Apparently the management has something against tents! Allegedly everything is reserved when asked, although reservations are not possible. People, stay away from the site if you are traveling with a tent like a real camper!

"Horrendous - do not go. - Horrendous experience - a hostile, abusive and harassing owner who shouted at a lady because they missed the sign for reception. Shocking. Poor campsite - very small.

"Nice stay - The welcome was very warm and friendly. The captain of the campsite drives ahead on his scooter and shows you to your pitch. The tenants always have an open ear for your wishes. The location of the campsite is beautiful, right on the lake. Nice little bistro that invites you to linger. We spent three wonderful days and will definitely be back.
