- Nina T.September 2021PlusuriPerfectly located! Clean. Pool.MinusurinoneMy second home for 40 years! As the title says, I've been coming to this campsite for 40 years! It's my second home because everything is just right. Wonderfully close for a stroll into town and to all the nearby dream places! Large, shady pitches with plenty of space and peace and quiet! A pool for cooling off. And of course the owners, they have known me since I was a baby! I have been coming here at least once a year for 40 years!Tradus automat.
- Edith K.August 2021PlusuriFamily-run campsite with beautiful floral decorations, clean, adequate sanitary facilities, great starting point for hikes/excursions to the surrounding sights, including the popes' city of Avignon. The swimming pool makes you feel safe even during the pandemic. Unsafe South of France??? Not here!!! Are like a boomerang: we'll be back!MinusuriUnfortunately, we had to leave again.... Our actual home wanted to be inhabited again.Camping to "be at home"!I have already described most of this above: No waiting times in the clean showers, when washing or in front of the toilets. Questions about the weather, a planned route or which doctor to see? We are happy to help here! Several times a week, good food is brought in from outside. I also think the location... of the square is great: the town is within easy walking distance.tip: Be the first at the Wednesday market! From 11.00 a.m. you will be breathless....
The place allows a peaceful night's sleep, rules are observed by the guest, a positive coexistence is given.
If possible, don't pass on the tip: I would like to get a place there again! I would like to thank Annie, Sophie, Achmed and the young man, whose name I unfortunately don't know yet, for a wonderful few weeks! But next time!!!⁸Tradus automat. - Arne M.July 2018PlusuriTop location, closer to the city, large plots, shady.MinusuriComparatively expensive, sanitary facilities smell, Paul too small (not very clean), no shopping facilities, no restaurantGood, but not top!The location - a 5-minute walk to the wonderful St. Remy - is the big plus point of this pleasant site. The tenant family is very friendly and accommodating, the spacious pitches are mostly shady and surrounded by high hedges. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are modern. Unfortunately,... there is a bad smell from the facilities from time to time, probably from the drainage system/sewerage. It will bother those who use the sanitary facilities directly. Unfortunately, there is no mini market and no restaurant. You can order bread and croissants for the next few days and pick them up at reception. The somewhat overpriced Bahr has a small selection of snacks and the usual drinks. The pool is too small for the size of the campsite and not always completely clean. The cleaning/recirculation pump seems overworked - not bad but there are better ones. Overall the value for money doesn't seem quite right. This site is ideal for excursions in the surrounding area, a culinary stay in Saint Remy and the surrounding Domaines or just a two or three day stopover.Tradus automat.
- Henning P.June 2018MinusuriThe unfriendly and incompetent manager!Plants are watered with dirty water! Shameless manager! In June, we spent two days and nights on pitch H$, right next to the bamboo hedge. In the morning, our pitch was suddenly several centimeters under water. When I asked the manager, she said "We are cleaning". After that I was ignored. But someone, invisible in the thick hedge, tried to remove the cause... of the flooding. Half an hour later, there was another even heavier flood. And this time, clearly recognizable, with grey water, dirty water, sewage!!! This time the manager was persuaded to come and see the disaster on site: My dog, who had been lying on the grass and has a brown coat, was shining a brisk light gray...and had to be showered off first, if only for health reasons. Not a word of apology, just a bragging in an impertinent tone and cheeky choice of words - I could leave if I didn't like it here. I accepted the gray discolored lawn and stayed. Now more than ever! And I very much doubt whether it is permitted to discharge waste water into the ground in France... - Gregor B.September 2016PlusuriLocation, peace and quietMinusurinoneHighly recommended!Close to the city center and yet very quiet. Nice pitches, very friendly service, nice little bar (paella on Thursdays - highly recommended). Good value for money. Would love to come back!Tradus automat.
- Florian K.August 2015Plusuriclose to the city center, very clean, very friendly, large pitchesGreat clean campsiteReally a great, clean campsite, probably the nicest we could find in the area. The sanitary facilities are in excellent condition in terms of both quantity and quality, the town of St Remis is very close by and the nearby towns of Arles, Avignon and Nimes are also very easy to reach. I hope we manage... to come back to this campsite in the next few years. We already miss it very much. The pool is very nice (just a bit cold at the end of August). There is a supermarket in the village of St Remy, but bread, water... can also be bought at the reception. The town center is only about 300 meters from the campsite and is perfect for strolling through the beautiful streets in the evening.Tradus automat.
- Hermann S.August 2014PlusuriFree wifi, everything top clean, good location, many water tapsMinusuriIn the first row you can hear the traffic road at nightSuper clean campsite in a top locationThe site is ideal for relaxing and sightseeing (historic city center of St. Remy, Avignon, Arles...). The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and extremely clean. The pool is also beautifully laid out and very clean. It's great for small children thanks to the children's toilet, children's shower, children's pool etc... You can be in St. Remy in two minutes by bike, where there is a bakery, large supermarket and everything you need.Tradus automat.
- Werner S.June 2014Plusurivery close to the city and quiet, except in the front places, nice poolMinusuriat the front seats Main street within earshotclean, quiet place in the back with a nice pool, very close to the cityclean and tidy site with a nice pool; in June 2014 36 degrees air, 26 degrees water; sanitary building always clean and partly colorful renovated; bread service available, but not particularly good goods; friendly people in reception with English skills; flat pitches, partly with old trees and shade;... in the front part of the CP you can hear the main road, but there is the best shade; further back no noise nuisance; approx. 7oo meters to the nice old town; the market on Wednesday is absolutely huge and worth seeing; price in the early and late season at 23.80 euros for 2 people per night just reasonable for what is on offer;Tradus automat.
- michael b.August 2013PlusuriLarge plots close to the city, largely quiet Bread rolls in the morning from 8 amMinusuriAfter a car breakdown, hardly any support when picking up the car in Avignon (2013)Quiet place close to the citywe are here for the second time for a few days of culture and life as an alternative to the beach. the interesting old town is within walking distance. for shopping it is about 3 KM to the supermarket with cheap gas station Arles and Avignon quickly accessible by car WLAN free, the operators speak French and EnglishTradus automat.
- T. H.July 2013Very centrally located place. You can walk to the center of St. Remy de Provence in 5 minutes. It's a bit adventurous by bike due to the traffic during the day and not recommended with children. The site is very well maintained, with mature trees and therefore natural shade. There are plenty of sanitary... facilities. One sanitary building has already been renovated, the other is a bit outdated. They are close to each other. Toilet seats and toilet paper are unfortunately not available, but the toilets etc. were always clean and well maintained. The showers are spacious and there are also family showers (with one for children and one for adults). The site has a nice pool (for children and adults). The playground is relatively small. You can play boules. There is a small bar right by the pool. The site is also very quiet at night, no animation, no car noise.Tradus automat.
- toffa t.August 2011Tha caping is located close the center of the town not so far from the ruins of the Roman city of Glanum. The emplacements are quite large and the hygienic services are clean.Tradus automat.
- Heike H.May 2011Great campsite for exploring Provence (Arles (big market on Saturday), Camargue, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Rousillon). Only 2 minutes by bike to the center (Wednesday market). Large pitches, clean sanitary facilities (bring your own toilet paper), heated showers. Swimming pool (not heated) available for cooling off.Tradus automat.
