"Pro and con - The location is remarkable. View of the sea. Private pebble beach. The campsite has a lot to offer and those who like to eat on the beach are in good hands. The great location is also well worth it. The mini market is equipped with the essentials, the takeaway pizza is poor by Italian standards. We didn't discover any other shopping options, so stock up if you want to cook for yourself. The journey should not be undertaken by anyone who cannot cope with tight driving situations. Narrow coastal roads and hairpin bends await you. The sanitary facilities are dated, but clean. We often had ants in this area. It is advisable to buy a suitable product in the store and treat the contact points of the camper van with the surface.

"Beautiful, small place right by the sea - We stayed here for 6 nights and had a great pitch with a direct view of the sea. There is a small extra section of beach where we were able to go into the water with our dog. We were alone there. There is a larger beach 50 m further on. The sanitary facilities urgently need to be renovated. However, the toilets are clean, the showers are borderline, because a lot has accumulated on the tiles. With Acsi Card 20 euros. The staff are very friendly.

"Underground.... - Underground bad. Despite booking in advance, only got a pitch in the middle, which is actually not a pitch at all. Set up not possible. No service in the restaurant after 25 minutes. According to reception there was a lot going on, but people were being served left and right and tables were being cleared. No response after complaining to reception. One star for the functioning and clean sanitary facilities. 44€ per night.

"great location but overworked unfriendly staff and Ballermann atmosphere - The initial enthusiasm about the great pitch fizzled out when the canopy was torn off the camper in the absence of the staff because three other vehicles were squeezed in between. From 21:00 there was disco with the typical bad Ballermann hits and underground remixes. Screaming and bawling youngsters completed the party. The next morning we cautiously asked if there was disco every night and the boss exploded and threw us out. Obviously the people here are fed up with their own ballroom atmosphere. Otherwise he probably wouldn't have missed the fact that we were only asking to plan our stay and didn't want to complain. If you don't want to pay for Ballermann and overworked, unfriendly staff - and the fun here is not cheap - you should avoid this place.

"Too much promised! - The site has very small pitches with no boundaries. The "beach" consists of coarse gravel and is mostly covered by bagnos. Hardly any room for a towel! Reception VERY unfriendly. Mini store, no shopping in the village!

THE VERBORGENE PARADISE The beautiful Camping Holiday Village Nettuno is situated on the splendid beach of Marina del Cantone, in the middle of the paradisiacal nature reserve of Punta Campanella, which also includes Capri. For your holidays you will find …everything you need: a beautiful campsite, restaurant and pizzeria, bar and grocery, disco and piano bar, dance and internet access, TV Sat room, ping-pong. There is also a large car park for cars and buses. With us you also have the possibility to go hiking on the wild romantic mountain and coastal paths, boat trips along the Amalfi Coast or to Capri, but also trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Vesuvius, Ischia or Paestum. Our terrace restaurant is located on the holiday village grounds. The following services can be found in the holiday village of Nettuno: Restaurant, Pizzeria, Take-away, Bar, Market, Private Car and Bus Parking, TV Room, Disco, Tennis, Ping-pong, Internet Point, Electronic Games, Credit Cards. Padi Diving Centre (www.sorrentodiving.com) (50 complete sets) with international diving school. Snorkelling. Equipment rental. Guided dives in the lake park "Punta Campanella". Boat hire. Fishing trip with fishing boats. Hire of sailing boats and mini cruises in the Gulf of Naples. Boat trips directly from the holiday village to: Capri, Amalfi Coast, Ieranto Bay, Recommone Bay, Crapolla Bay, Li Galli Islands. Minibus service on request. Transfers from the train station and airport (for singles or groups). Possibility of trekking and hiking (also with guide on request). Guided excursions to the most interesting places in the area (only for groups). Public bus service: a bus leaves every hour for Sorrento, stopping at the train station, from where a train leaves every 20 minutes for Naples, Vesuvius, Pompei and Herculaneum.
