Toilet house at the rear square resembles a toilet car at the funfair (indoor area) and no hot water at the rear square. The large sanitary building could be cleaner, especially in Corona times. According to the cleaning schedule, it is cleaned twice a day, whether this is sufficient in high season is questionable.If you're happy with that, then it's okayAn aging campsite that is apparently managed by the municipality. Although there is a groundsman, I found the attention to detail here lacking, as is the case with privately run campsites. Registration was a "Hello, pay, I'll take you to your pitch". You had to ask for further information (site map/showers/wifi/water/rolls... etc).
There is an additional toilet block with flushing facilities at the back of the site. However, this is all with cold water and has the charm of a fairground toilet car. When we asked why no boiler or similar was installed, we were told that it was too dangerous. You can take a shower at the main entrance but the whole place has an inflow so a higher cleaning interval would be desirable here. I know that this is not a 5 star place but I have seen this better on small family places that also had an 80s charm. The lake offers a nice beach area for the children. Leash obligation and night rest are not monitored.Quiet during the week, sometimes overcrowded during the vacations and at weekendsVery nice bathing lake with sandy beach for children, playground, Kneipp pool, table tennis etc. Greek food is offered in the beer garden. Tourist pitches have no plots, not demarcated, so the caravans are very cramped when overcrowded, hardly any space. 2 taps for fresh water supply for the entire tourist... pitch with approx. 30 pitches. When there is little going on, the sanitary facilities are clean and the site is very quiet. Flushing is only possible with cold water at an outdoor basin where others clean shoes, for example. Wifi in the sanitary building area. Showers for a fee.Tradus automat.

We (3 families, 5 children 6-13 years) liked it here very much, everything we needed was there, the children had a lot of fun at the swimming lake and the catering at "Costa" is good and cheap. It could have been a bit cleaner overall, possibly due to a very large event (beach party with approx. 5,000 visitors) that took place on the day of arrival.Tradus automat.

Nice and quiet during the week and outside the vacation seasonMinusuriMany campers and long-term campers come at the weekend, when it gets a bit louder, especially with youth groups. From Sun evening it is quiet again.Beautiful place with a great swimming lakeI was there for the fourth time in 2013. The children have practically grown with me. They can now go to the beach on their own, which slopes slowly and is fenced off for non-swimmers. I found the place back then because I was looking for a dark area to look at the stars. About 20 km away is a good place:... Sulzdorf an der Lederhecke, where there is also the Reutsee....but back to the campsite. The short-term campsite with electricity is relatively small and there are a lot of permanent campers on the whole site. Many tent campers like to come to the meadow on the lake itself at the weekend. I can't say anything about the vacation season, as a Hessian I was only there when there were no vacations in Bavaria ;-). That's why I'll probably only be vacationing there again in 2016. Various festivals are held opposite the campsite. Once it was a classic car meeting.Tradus automat.
- marco p.August 2012Actually a good place! The showers have been newly renovated, but unfortunately the toilets are in urgent need of renewal. In the high season, the sanitary facilities are totally overloaded (really nasty, so bring plenty of disinfectant!) It is very noisy on the adjacent tent meadow during the day and... at night, and there is also a lot of alcohol! If this doesn't cause you any problems, you can spend a cheap camping vacation there! A small note about the kiosk at the bathing lake: When there is a big rush, i.e. in bathing weather, it is poorly organized and does not keep up (up to 1.5 h waiting time when ordering food). There are also extra charges for changing side dishes - I don't think that's okay. (e.g. changing from chips to garlic potatoes for an extra €0.50).Tradus automat.
