We would love to come back.Tradus automat.- Uwe B.March 2024PlusuriNo pitches, so you quickly come into contact with the other campers.MinusuriI can't think of anyLovingly managed placeA lovely site on the Dortmund-Ems Canal with around 20 pitches for tourist campers on a beautiful meadow. You immediately notice that the operators put their heart and soul into their work. The site was very lovingly decorated for Easter and on Easter Sunday the Easter bunny came to every (!) camper.... The friendliness of the operators seems to extend to the campers - everyone here is very friendly, whether they are permanent campers or tourists. It's very easy to make contact and meet up at the fire pit, for example.
We felt very comfortable and it certainly wasn't the last time we were there.Tradus automat.

Dishwashing facilities clean. Washing machine and dryer also available for washing and drying clothes. Everything on the campsite was tidy and clean. Bistro food tasted good. Plenty of choice of drinks. Prices okay. We would love to come back in 2024. A very good and tasty restaurant in Senden. Food was plentiful. Service was friendly and courteous.

It was beautifully decorated for Christmas in December.

For children good play areas, campers have all possibilities here. Nice route could cycle to the beautiful city of Münster.

We received a very friendly welcome and were accompanied and instructed to our pitch. The entire campsite and the sanitary facilities were in a clean condition.
We really liked the marina,... where it was easy to put the boat in the water. You can also go cycling very well.

- JoHannes F.July 2019Plusuri- Close to Münster, NL etc - inexpensive and very quiet camping - shopping facilities and bus stop within easy cycling distanceMinusuri- Showers quite expensive (but really hot!!!) - free WLAN only near the receptionFamiliar CP Kranenkamp, very quiet and recommendable, also reasonably pricedWe stayed at the Kranencamp for 16 days and were able to sleep very restfully for 16 nights: no anti-social music or TV nuisance. Even the numerous permanent campers behaved "acoustically completely unobtrusive" :-) The campsite is characterized by the permanent campers, the two groundskeepers and a... family atmosphere: the former are very nice and open across the board. There seems to be a "duty to greet", and doors to the sanitary facilities, for example, are kept open, and the totally nice groundskeepers Reinhard and Peter are also very approachable (even when registering by phone), always approachable and always very helpful. The campsite is more of a transit station for users of the A1, bikers and cyclists. The proximity to Münster and many other sights in the near and far surroundings characterize this CP. The town of Senden is easy to reach by bike: approx. 3.5 km, to MS you can easily take the S92 bus, which stops every half hour at the bus stop approx. 1 km away and also takes bicycles. The sanitary facilities may be getting on in years, but were always clean and were cleaned several times if necessary. Shower tokens cost €1, but you can clean yourself and bathe for a good 5 minutes with water as hot as we've ever experienced on a campsite: there's absolutely no risk of legionella! We can highly recommend the restaurant at the entrance to the campsite, which serves German/Yugoslavian cuisine: Impeccable taste and freshness, with a salad buffet; glasses that are not filled below the calibration mark; very attentive service; very generous portions and reasonably priced. Free WLAN ("carefree 123") is unfortunately only available around reception. Otherwise LTE via mobile phone. Very cheap use of the washing machine: €2.50. CP fees also very reasonable. Electricity connections completely problem-free. Disadvantages: There are only 2 water points on the "meadow" reserved for campers and no possibility to discharge waste water directly.Tradus automat.

We stayed with our motorcycles in the biker hut, which is very well maintained and well equipped. The operator is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site offers first-class value for money. The water sports facilities are also excellent. A vehicle is definitely needed for shopping. I was greeted warmly on the phone as soon as I made the inquiry. When I arrived at the campsite on 8.5.2018, I was greeted by Mr. Kranefoer with a friendly smile. He showed me the pitch on the meadow where I should park my VW bus. Again... and again, the encounter with him was very friendly, from May 10 there were bread rolls. The meadow is not very big, you should ask in advance if there is space. The permanent campers were also very friendly. There are many who have their boat moored in the harbor. The restaurant at the campsite is highly recommended, I received very friendly service there. The sanitary facilities are old, but okay. If everyone would keep the toilets clean, the successor would be grateful. You can also clean the shower yourself with the equipment provided. If I ever come back to this area, I will visit this place again. You can get to the town quickly by bike and there's everything you need there. It took me 1 hour to get to Münster by bikeTradus automat.

Caution to all those towing a large caravan or traveling with a large motorhome****. The access road to the campsite is very narrow. We made a small dent in the caravan and had to uncouple for a bend. Furthermore, the sanitary facilities... are getting on in years and it wasn't really clean either. The site has a small playground for children. However, playing on the large meadow is prohibited in the "house rules of the site". We will not return to this site.Tradus automat.

The site is mainly occupied by permanent campers. The tourist meadow is very level and aligning the camper van is no problem. There are plenty of power points and water taps. The chemical sink is... about 80 meters away. There are plenty of sanitary facilities and they are also quite clean. There are only two sinks available, but there was never any congestion. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The site is located directly on a branch of the Dortmund-Ems Canal, where you can go for a lovely walk with dogs. The campsite also has a restaurant that serves Yugoslavian specialties. It is also possible to eat out here. All in all, it was a very nice short break on a comparatively inexpensive siteTradus automat.
Dieter B.August 2014PlusuriPlace is centrally located in MünsterlandMinusurino shopping facilitiessmall site with many permanent campersSmall place with connection to the canal (own harbour) the place seems to be a big family, everyone knows each other and you celebrate together in our case there was a children's party organized by the campers (should not be a criticism we even find very good) toilets are getting on in years but are... clean. The water on the site comes from its own well and can smell a bit. Restaurant is very good and cheap. Unfortunately you still use shower tokens here but one token is enough to shower.Tradus automat.
