- Nicole K.May 2024PlusuriThe tranquility, large places, patzeliert, all green, staff nice, shopping on the square, bread service, very tasty ...MinusuriNo possibility to go out to eat, not within walking distance, if about 6 km by bike, but then unfortunately many stores are not yet open.RatingBeautiful country, but not suitable for us as campers, we will not be back,,,...Tradus automat.
- Rüdiger K.August 2022PlusuriNot far from Skagen and the other sights . You can cycle 14 km to Skagen on a great cycle path. The new wash house is greatMinusuriOld wash house which is still in use but new one will be built in 2023 is already announced with a big sign.Great days in the far northGreat campsite with large pitches partly with sun but also shady places if desired. Nice beach also suitable for walking with the dogs. If you choose places I would move a little further back next time because the front area to the main road at the weekend is a bit louder from the traffic.
We would definitely like to come back.Tradus automat. - Martin S.August 2022PlusuriSkagen is easy to reach via a beautiful cycle path. The silted-up church is also a detour on the way. Showers without time limit. The beach can be reached after a short walk over a dune.MinusuriSea and beach not visible from the campsite due to the dune. Windsurfing or fishing from the campsite is only possible by carrying the equipment over the dune. Better to drive to surf spots by car or take the cutter out from Frederikshavn for fishing.Skagen close to bicycles and the beachThe hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. The pitches are sufficient for a motorhome up to 7m. Larger vehicles can only be parked crosswise. Beautiful, high hedges border each pitch.
There is also a tent meadow or "van meadow", where the pitches are separated without hedges.
The showers are a bit outdated, but are spotlessly clean and a pleasure to use - no card, no coins, no time limit.Tradus automat. - Ralf H.July 2022PlusuriDirectly on the dunes.Minusurinone discovered...Also a nice place for one nightWe were here for one night on our way to Norway and therefore we recommend a pitch right next to the dunes. The site has everything you need. There are also two supermarkets in the next village.Tradus automat.
- Maggie L.July 2022PlusuriSuper sanitary facilities Close to the water Large, separate pitches very dog-friendlyMinusurinonesuper campsiteWith dog and child you are very welcome here. it was very relaxing, gladly again at any time.Tradus automat.
- Ulf H.July 2022PlusuriQuiet location, shady spots, right by the seaMinusuriOur long journey, but it's not the site's fault. No, I can't find anything negative.Beautiful placeSomething for everyone. Entertainment for children (I was very surprised), campfires on the beach when the weather is nice, the staff try everything to make everyone happy and in many different languages. Really great here.Tradus automat.
- Thomas R.June 2022PlusuriVery beautifully situated, quiet with lots of greenery. Large pitches, cleanliness, the beautiful beach and the many sights in the immediate vicinity (Rjaberg Mile, Skagen, Grenen, etc.). Bicycles can easily be taken on the train at no extra charge. As usual in Denmark, the cycle paths are excellent.MinusuriActually no disadvantages, the outdated sanitary buildings are gradually being replaced and that's a good thing :-)Quiet, clean, friendly staff, great landscapeBunken Strand Camping has been taken over by the same group that already owns Hvidberg campsite on Blavand Strand. In my opinion, this has had a positive effect, as the old, outdated sanitary facilities have been replaced and the new sanitary building is state of the art in terms of service and facilities.... The site itself is very cozy, spacious and quiet. The camping store deserves its name, as it offers more than just the usual chips and sweet drinks. We were there at the end of June, there were hardly any pitches occupied in our "row", we had a lot of peace and quiet, the site is scenically beautiful and the beach is amazing. We liked it very muchTradus automat.
- Henning F.September 2021PlusuriShort walk to the sea high hedges around the pitches many playgrounds good storeMinusuriSanitary facilities outdated but cleangreat location, cozy pitches3 nights on pitch 274, short walk to the dated wash house. but everything was clean. 2 kitchens with gas stoves and microwaves, lounges with TV.
Nice beach for swimming, store well equipped. Tip: a visit to Skagen is worthwhile
Price: approx. 30 euros for two adults with caravan per night
Bread rolls in the store today 6 dkk
WLAN was good, but didn't work even though the site was almost empty, some of the paths to fresh water were a bit longTradus automat. - Reisender K.August 2020PlusuriLocation and proximity to the beachMinusuriDoes not existTop campsiteVery nice and well-kept campsite. Parcelled out with hedges. Direct access to the beach. All is right with the world up here.Tradus automat.
- Corinna R.June 2020PlusuriOn arrival you immediately feel welcome, the email contact is very fast and personal, great large pitches, unbeatable price, electricity, showers, everything included, super proximity to the beach, the store has a wide range of products, the shopkeeper is always in a good mood and very friendly, the place is not too styled, but still natural and pleasant, sanitary facilities were always clean and are sufficiently available,Minusuri...nothingRelaxed vacationWe were there for the 2nd time and will definitely come back, we immediately felt welcome and well received, often sat on the beach for a long time in the evening.... the store owner is also great, in a good mood and has a great offer!
The sand dune nearby is absolutely worth seeing!
Skagen is a nice place for strolling and shopping, then a little further north of course the meeting of the North and Baltic Seas!!!!Tradus automat. - Björn M.August 2019Plusuri- the location - beautiful natural site - great pitches - great playgrounds - great beachMinusuri- for me noSummer 2019The last time I was on the site was about 20 years ago and I was glad that hardly anything had changed. The site is still very natural, the pitches are spacious and separated by lots of trees and bushes. There are nice playgrounds, a great beach and the area offers plenty of opportunities for nice bike... rides. The sanitary facilities are certainly not up to date, but they are clean and functional, the water is warm and the shower has a powerful jet. What more could you want? The staff were always friendly and helpful. For me, it's the perfect campsite. However, if you need five-star sanitary facilities, entertainment and lots of activities or shopping to be happy, you will be disappointed here.Tradus automat.
- Thomas M.July 2019PlusuriQuiet location, beautiful beach, large pitches, friendly staffVery nice placeWe had a large place in front of the dunes which is far away from the road, so it is wonderfully quiet, very well-kept pitches and mowed so that there is a natural border to the neighboring pitch, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the one sani needs a renovation, but it was always clean, there is also a store and a snack bar on the square.Tradus automat.
- Björn W.July 2018For an overnight stay OkWe stayed at the front of the campsite for one night in July. The campsite staff were very friendly and there is a small store. The sanitary building in the front area is quite dated and not recommended. I have just read that there is at least one other building that is in better condition. The site is well located for a trip to Skagen from here, about a 10-minute drive.Tradus automat.
- Melanie L.June 2018PlusuriClose to the Baltic Sea, well-kept area, nice operatorsMinusuriIntermittent car noise from the nearby main roadBeautiful campsite on the Baltic Sea beachLarge two-lane driveway, friendly welcome in German, free choice of pitches. Pitches are divided by hedges, small shop with a large selection available, snack bar only open in July and August. Three wash houses (very clean), some with family bathrooms, middle one with cooking facilities and TV room.... Several playgrounds and a mini-golf course. Direct access to the Baltic Sea beach. Price for two adults with caravan incl. electricity per night €31, showers are free. We found the car noise from the nearby main road to be a small drawback, sometimes quieter, sometimes louder, depending on the wind. We would still come back.Tradus automat.
- Kai W.June 2018PlusuriNothing to complain aboutMinusuriNoneNot to understand why the place has only three starsIt was our first time at the site and we were thrilled. The friendly reception and the exploration of the pitches alone create a feel-good atmosphere. The pitches are designed in such a way that, if you want, you can stand freely or, for privacy, the pitches are separated by vegetation. The site is very clean and well-kept, and the proximity to the beach, the sights in the area and the shopping facilities leave nothing to be desired.Tradus automat.
- Stefan G.May 2018PlusuriNature, beach and hiking opportunities very good. WLAN incl.MinusuriNone.Relaxing vacation in the north of DenmarkIf you are looking for relaxation on a large campsite with pitches of all sizes, this is the place for you. Very well-kept pitches with small trees in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Everything a camper's heart desires. Be sure to stop by.Tradus automat.
- Kai W.August 2017PlusuriHuge campsite with very large pitchesMinusuriSome pitches have a long distance for fresh waterVery nice campsite at the baltic seaWe had a large pitch in the first row. The campsite owners are very nice - they organized some events for all guest (e.g. soccer, pancakes on campfire). We were there with 3 kids and had a lot of fun.Tradus automat.
- Heiner Z.July 2017PlusuriGreat beach, lots of leisure activities, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere on the campsiteMinusuriA little too big for our tasteGreat for families! The site was our first stop - 3 nights - on our little Tour de Denmark. The pitches are very spacious and the location, right on the beach, is impressive. The campsite was full - in the middle of July - but we still managed to get a pitch without any problems. Without a reservation! We had the fantastic... sandy beach almost to ourselves in the bright sunshine - there was easily 100m of space to the left and right. Fantastic! The coastline is definitely suitable for snorkeling, provided you have a wetsuit. Crabs, shrimps, plaice.... Grenen should definitely be visited. The North Sea and Baltic Sea put on quite a show when they meet. And if you leave the "well-trodden" Baltic Sea path, follow the North Sea coast a little - to where the tourist tugs come out of the dunes - and then follow the RED route, you will experience beautiful, deserted nature. One lap was just under 13 km. Don't forget your binoculars! Back to the square: the bread roll costs 6kr. The store is certainly ok...but in the next small towns there are Brugsen, Netto, Aldi and soon Lidl. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. All in all, we liked Bunken very much, but you have to walk almost 20 minutes to get the rolls - we stood at the lower service building.Tradus automat.
- Odd M.July 2017PlusuriNeat and well maintained. Free moonbikes, Free wifi. Large and well-divided pitches.MinusuriSomewhat poor wifi coverage,Neat and well maintainedNeat and well-maintained campsite, -near large beach -large and well-maintained play areas for children. Clean and well-maintained toilets and showers despite age -good service and nice people. Have been here 3 times with the same experience.Tradus automat.
