Camera surveillance in many places, information or prohibition signs everywhere. You get the feeling that even the toilet paper is rationed per guest.The lightness of life is somewhere elseAs cyclists, we camped there for one night.
We arrived there as a storm was rolling in and wanted to set up our tents quickly before it started to pour. The operator literally pounced on us and demanded that we register and pay immediately. He wasn't interested in what was about to happen in the sky.... His comment was "everyone as they need it". My interpretation of this: This is probably the fate of campers and he finds them funny anyway.
He's constantly racing around the square on his Segway, making control trips and reprimanding guests. At least it feels like there are surveillance cameras everywhere.
I've stayed at many different camping sites, but I've never encountered such compulsive behavior.
You didn't have the urge to want to communicate with him in any way.
We were able to sleep peacefully, showers were nice, but the next day we were happy to drive on again.Automaticky preložené.

Nevertheless, there was an explicit sign prohibiting access to the site. This "reglementitis" continued.
The pitches were unsuitable for tents,... but the campsite was not accessible by car (which is always annoying when the car is needed as storage space).
Having to pay for WiFi is all the more annoying when the site is practically in a dead zone.

The campsite managers were also very friendly and helpful. There would have been parceled out pitches available the whole time, which we weren't shown, which I didn't understand. But we still liked it very much... on the meadow. The sanitary facilities were relatively new and always clean. We didn't need a bread roll service and we were quickly in Dietfurt, 3 km away, by bike and always ate very well there. We would love to come back anytime!Automaticky preložené.

The cycle paths lead right past the campsite and are in good condition. The only drawback is that there is no boat connection. We received a very friendly welcome. The operator showed us around the site and we were able to choose our pitch. We were quietly situated right on the cycle path to the Main-Danube Canal, which we immediately used for a... tour to Beilngries. The cycle connection to Dietfurth is also excellent. The Altmühltal cycle path is also close by. There are beautiful stages here that are easy to reach from the campsite. The sanitary facilities are bright and friendly and easy to use. Unfortunately, they were not cleaned daily during our stay. Using the toilet facilities only with bathing slippers is totally excessive - clean shoes are probably enough, like everywhere else. The bread roll service is very good and the kiosk is also fine. The site is well maintained and has electricity and water connections on every pitch. pitch. The cottage is fully equipped. The toilets and showers are modern and clean. Fresh bread can be ordered every day. You can enjoy cycling in the area. As the site was almost empty, we had a free choice of pitches. The sanitary facilities were always clean. However, the operator insists that you take off your shoes and put on slippers before entering. From the campsite you can easily cycle along the Main-Danube Canal to Dietfurt or Beilngries. It is clean here, but we are not overpriced! And we don't have a restaurant! We do not have bathing times! We don't have a bath! Only showers, and they are always open for guests! The area is great for hiking, especially with a dog. The 20 or so pitches are sufficient for small to medium-sized motorhomes and the sanitary facilities make a tidy and clean impression. The prices are... actually ok, but the operators have made a few unfortunate decisions: You have to pay €1 per device per night for WLAN access - this makes a strange impression, as there are no variable costs associated with it. If they were to give internet access for free instead and raise the overnight price by €1, the strange aftertaste would not be there. A fee of €2 is charged for connecting the power cable - what's the point? The kWh of electricity is charged at € 0.70 - that's well over twice the cost price - not nice either Unfortunately, these points unnecessarily spoil the feeling of well-being on the pitch.Automaticky preložené.

That's about it...pleasant atmosphere, very friendly ownersWe were there for 3 days with motorhome and e-bikes, very nice cycling route along the canal to Riedenburg, local supply in Dietfurt about 2.5 km away, easy to cycle. Very friendly and helpful owners, had problems with WLAN dial-up, tried to help me. Segway beginners course at the campsite was great... and well explained, will definitely come back. Unfortunately, the fields in the valley were fertilized at the end of August, nothing for sensitive noses. Bread roll service works very well. The pitches are parceled out. There is a water connection between every two pitches. The ground is level and not "plowed up". There is a layer of gravel, so rainwater runs off easily, but this must be taken into account when choosing the pegs. The pitch itself is very... quiet. However, you can hear the nearby main road, which is not very busy at night. The sanitary facilities are functional and very clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Dietfurt, where all shopping facilities are available, is just a few minutes away by bike. As the site is new, it is not yet so well known. In June I was sometimes completely alone on the site, which took some getting used to. If you love camping without frills, this campsite is the perfect place for you.Automaticky preložené.
