A pleasant campsite to relax, good opportunity for activities and relaxation. Bathrooms spacious, clean, staff helpful. Parking places among the trees, in the shade or right by the lake.

Very much geared towards anglers...
Stayed at the campsite in Älvkarleby for one night in June 2014 as we were passing through. Arrived on Sunday just before the reception closed and could no longer pay by credit or debit card because the terminal was already switched off. The two ladies at reception were very accommodating and waived... a few crowns off the original price so that we could pay in cash. We found that extremely spontaneous and friendly. You don't experience that very often. There were probably a lot of anglers there this weekend and so everything was deserted on Sunday evening. We only took a short walk around the site, which is beautifully situated on a kind of peninsula in the river. Sanitary facilities older but clean.
