"Camping with an island restaurant and swimming pool - We visited Autokamp Kolo in July 2015. There were only two other families there, so there was plenty of space. The field where you camp is quite rough, and because many small trees have been planted there is not much room to manoeuvre a large caravan. There are some mature cherry trees providing shade. The owners need to make a ramp to make it easier to drive into. However these are small problems compared with the pleasure of being here. There is a small but beautifully-kept swimming pool right next to the campsite, and even a shaded area with a large table which you can use for meals. The sanitary facilities are right next to the swimming pool - these are excellent because they effectively consist of two good-quality hotel bathrooms each containing a toilet, shower wash basin and excellent fittings. They are regularly cleaned. The best thing about the campsite is, of course, the motel and its restaurant on an island in the beautiful River Buna. This is reached down a few steps from the campsite, then you are on the riverbank dining area. You can cross a little wooden bridge onto the island if you wish to eat there. The food is excellent, inexpensive and the restaurant is open all day. Even if not many waiters speak English they are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is obviously very popular with the locals. Unfortunately there are no shops nearby, but the motel can provide the basics like bread and milk if required. The campsite is reached down a narrow lane and is not signposted, but this was not too much of a problem even with our big caravan. We had a very pleasant stay and will certainly be back.
