    Quiet camping
    Beautiful location of the campsite. Unfortunately the low season is not ideal on Öland, many things are still closed. Everything in the harbor was closed. Relaxed stay. Clean sanitary facilities. Nice staff.

    Large space, little shade
    Platz is located directly on the Baltic Sea, separated by a narrow strip of pine forest at the old harbor. There should be fresh fish for sale, if the store had already opened at 4 p.m. or was it perhaps already closed again? Fresh water only in the sanitary building, long distances at an air temperature of 36°.

    Pure tranquillity
    Nice quiet campsite, a strip of pine forest separates the campsite from the Baltic Sea - you can buy fresh fish in the harbor. The sanitary facilities are adequate and partly modernized. There is a large kitchen area with plenty of seating both inside and outside. Good hiking opportunities in the north of the island.

    Familiar place in a good location
    The campsite is run in a very informal and friendly manner. Someone is always available and approachable. The location is ideal for excursions by bike, on foot or by car. The proximity to the beach should not be the main reason for choosing this campsite - during our stay, the beach was very littered with flotsam and jellyfish were increasingly present in the bay. There are nicer places to swim in the northern part of the island.

    I agree with the other comments. There is no mention of the fact that the water in the bay is only knee-deep. Also, in August 2013, swimming was not possible at all due to the many jellyfish.

    Great place in Böda Bay, in a quiet location. Not a party place. Nice ladies at the reception. There are two wash houses, one new and one slightly older but both very clean and tidy. Small shop on site. An ICA supermarket can be reached in 5 minutes by bike. There is a really great bakery in the village....

    We've been going to the site from time to time since 1983, most recently in August 2010. What we like best is that nothing has changed over the years. Peace and nature as ever. The bakery and confectioner in the village are phenomenal. The staff are friendly and there are lovely music and dance evenings...
