- Lisa M.December 2020Pozitívnecalm place, next to cross country skiingNegatívneMr. Brinks is incredibly unfriendly, bold, impudent and cheeky.Worse never gets!We rented an apartment on the campsite that Mr. Brinks hadn't cleaned for six months and was actually so bold as to slip the apartment away from us. His statement was: he had no staff to clean the apartment. The apartment was completely dirty: dead insects, dust everywhere, very dirty floor, hair, the... beds were not freshly made. We were really disappointed. After consultation, we cleaned for 1.5 hours ourselves and agreed with Mr. Brinks that we would deduct our cleaning service from the final amount (of which we already have to pay half of it in advance!). Mr Brinks was of the opinion that we had only cleaned a little briefly, which was equivalent to normal cleaning. We clearly disagreed, as the two of us cleaned for 1.5 hours (for example, the cupboards in the kitchen had to be cleaned and the dishes washed first!). Thereupon Mr. Brinks threatened us with debt enforcement and with his lawyer. In fact, the only reason the matter has not degenerated into any legal dispute in court is because we have given in the agreement that we will deduct the cleaning service from the final amount only verbally and not in writing and therefore have given in. We consider the amount to be taken to court for cleaning to be very disproportionate. And be careful: you can be operated by anyone at any time, you don't even need a written receipt (e.g. invoice)!

Unfortunately too expensive compared to other campsites. There is no low season. We paid 39 francs. Plus 3 francs garbage fee and then 1 franc showers per person. That was 44 francs! The playground is partially damaged, so there is a risk of injury. Fine for an overnight stay. If there is a lot going on, I can imagine that 2 showers are not enough.Automaticky preložené.

Everything looks very neat and clean. I receive friendly and attentive service at reception. The choice of pitch is generously left to the guest. Even now in the high season, the site is by no means overcrowded. The sanitary... facilities are newly renovated and appear clean. There are cash machines for showers. The site is ideal for long hikes and bike tours in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the campsite's own restaurant no longer serves food since the change of ownership, which I very much regret. The valley rises quite steeply next to the course. The valley side is overgrown with forest and alpine meadows. The site is easily accessible via a side road. There is no busy road nearby. Absolute peace and... quiet at night and a fantastic view of the starry sky. Access from the main road is well signposted and no problem for caravans. The site is crossed by a cycle path. The permanent campers are to the south of this path. PITCHES: Generously sized pitches. Some with trees. There are always seasonal campers spread across the whole site. Meadow terrain, somewhat uneven in places. SANITARY: The sanitary facilities are in the basement of the restaurant. The facilities have been rebuilt and are more recent. The toilets, showers and washing areas are all in the same room. The shower cubicles have a partition wall. You have to pay extra for hot water for showering. Single washbasin, hairdryer is available. INFRASTRUCTURE: A restaurant directly on the pitch also serves as reception. Dishwashing areas covered, but outdoors. Laundry machines available. Playground directly on the campsite. GENERAL: After a change of ownership, I had to revise the rating downwards when I visited again. The new owner is unfortunately unfriendly. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities also leaves a lot to be desired. There is no lounge (e.g. in bad weather). Great place for cycling tours, hiking, as a starting point for motorcycle tours (Alpine passes). Shopping facilities available in the village.Automaticky preložené.

- Heidi S.July 2010We have enjoyed coming to Camping Augenstern in July for many years now. That's quite a compliment when you come back to a campsite more often. This pure nature campsite offers so many possibilities that you can only enjoy yourself. The sanitary facilities are good and, above all, very clean! You have... to pay for the showers, but we think that's a good thing, so you don't use water unnecessarily. Washing dishes with hot water is free. There are many wonderful walks from the campsite. Congratulations to Camping Augenstern for doing so much and running the campsite with so much fun and friendliness (many people could learn something from this). See you next year! - Can I.July 2010There are far too few toilets and showers for the number of guests. There is already a long queue at 08:00. In the men's WC there is only ONE urinal! for about 50 caravans and 30 tents! The facilities are far too narrow and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Costs are very opaque! Prices look very... cheap, but you have to pay CHF 4.50 for electricity (6 amps), and an additional CHF 1.00 for showering (approx. 4 minutes) and CHF 1.50 (approx. 7 minutes) for washing up. (Hot water costs) There are hot water machines that you have to use with coins. If you add all this together, this campsite is far too expensive for its category. The guest has no access to the fuse box. You always have to look for the boss if there is a short circuit. If you cook with electricity (water, electric stove etc), sometimes 6 amps is not enough and you have to look for the boss again. Very tedious. The pitches look very dry: when guests leave, the pitches are not re-watered. Over time, the grass dies and is replaced by weeds. What is very nice here is that it is very quiet and right next to it is a swimming pool. Very useful if you have children or family.Automaticky preložené.
