However, the campsite is about 150 meters above the valley floor and you have to climb up after every tour. Otherwise a great location! Hiking possible directly from the campsite. Quiet, even on the pitch. The mostly large, terraced pitches are sometimes... a challenge for campers and caravans to drive to and from. Steep, partly graveled roads and rammed terraces. However, the groundsman will certainly help. In general, the campsite looks a little unkempt. Water points are rare. Light in the evening too. Sanitary facilities are old and no longer up to date. Partly defective. However, clean. The site is in a quiet location on sloping terrain. The pitches are terraced, fairly level and generously sized. Electricity connections available (our pitch had a CH plug). Some of the pitches may be difficult to access with... large campers. Not all pitches have shade. The sanitary buildings are open. The toilets and showers are very clean and in new condition. Hot water included. There is toilet paper and soap. There is a large swimming pool on the site (during our visit it was too cold to swim), a restaurant with delicious food. The food is no longer fine.Too long a waitThe restaurant has given way a lot since there are new owners. You have to expect a 20 minute wait if you sit at a table even though it wasn't very busy. Then you can wait again until you get your order. They are not very friendly and you can wait a long time for the bill if you don't ask for it straight away. Clean, somewhat outdated sanitary buildings, but well thought out and with sufficient capacity. Large swimming pool with children's pool and slide included, free fridges for campers, up-to-date newspapers. A beautiful site with a... mountain panorama that offers plenty for families with children up to 15 years of age, a pleasant international clientele and a good location for excursions (and away from the transit route to the Simplon) recommend this site for a visit to Valais. (Restaurant/bar available and well received, but not tested.) All the sights and well-known places can be reached in a short time. - Zalan O.júl 2011A beautiful campsite in a magnificent location with everything your heart desires. The restaurant was nominated for the Swiss Gastro Award and offers culinary delights for the discerning palate. Those who prefer to eat inexpensively can choose the daily menu, which is created anew every day. There is also entertainment for the little ones and the staff are very friendly and courteous.
