The camp also has a playground for children, a market. I like the camp. There are also nice walking paths around the camp. You can see interesting things that are worth seeing.We had a party in the trunk of the motorhome. The sanitary blocks in particular were always spotlessly clean, big praise to the hard-working and always friendly bees. We were also very impressed with the Cikat restaurant, the Silver Bay restaurant is a bit overpriced. We were a bit unlucky with our choice of pitch (sea view obstructed, narrow and uneven). It is highly recommended to take a closer look at the pitches before booking (the website provides precise details and pictures of the pitches)Very beautifully situated campsiteThe campsite is beautifully situated, it really is a lovely place to relax. As the booking system required a minimum stay of 7 days, we booked this even though we knew that we would be leaving earlier. We would have had to pay for 7 days, which we would have done if we hadn't been so accommodating that... we only paid for 5 days. That was a very, very nice gesture and left a really very hospitable impression. Mali Losinj itself can be reached by bike in less than 10 minutes, very nice little town. Sun loungers are left at the water's edge when a storm is forecast and they are pulled into the sea.Camping cikatThe campsite has all sanitary buildings to a high standard and very clean. Depending on the time of year, enough cleaning ladies are employed. The site is also cleaned daily, from pine needles and unfortunately the dirt of some campers. Complaining at a high level is that the aquqpqrk closes before October,... the store on the site is halved in mid-September and the bakery closes without notice and a restaurant, which is not bad due to the quality delivered. Staff are always friendly, no matter where they are, even if the guests are not. The pricing policy is unsatisfactory, but unfortunately the ravages of time. It is noticeable that more and more campers are arriving with several dogs, often unfortunately not camper dogs, whereby this is due to the masters, not on a leash and permanent barkers. A big plus point is that you can look at the pitches on the website in advance (it shows exactly how much usable space is available) and thus choose the ideal pitch. There are different areas - depending on whether you need water, electricity etc. For us (family with 2 children) a great camping site.NegatívneThe beach area with gravel could be larger. Arrival only possible by ferry.Super camping siteThis is our second time here and we will definitely be back!
Of course, it's a bit livelier on the square (11pm closing time and lots of different nationalities).

The disadvantages mentioned are our personal opinion.Automaticky preložené.- Patrick B.July 2022Pozitívnesuper clean sanitary facilities friendly staff Very well maintained complex Great bay, clean waterNegatívneSelfish campers, just put everything in a bin liner and put it in the garbage can, or just put everything next to it, staff will clear it away.Great place if there weren't some campersVery, very nice campsite, very clean despite its size, staff do what they can, but as soon as they turn around, a few "campers" simply put their bags full of cans and bottles in front of the containers, others think they have to slam the lids of the containers particularly loudly. The staff are really... great but they can't compete with these ignorant people. I would come here again and again but then at a distance from the nearest bins.
If you forget the approx. 40% idiots on the site, it is beautiful, the beach is cleaned of garbage every morning (why actually oh yes the 40%)
It's frightening that the custom of using towels to cover the beach has taken hold here, I would suggest that if there is no one in sight who is bathing then clear everything away again.
The scenery is great, the town is easy to reach, the food is great for our requirements, but the prices do go up.

The location is great, the place is beautiful. Very clean sea. The pitches by the sea are small and only suitable for smaller motorhomes.
From the second week onwards, there was... a charge for sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach (80 KN/day).
The small town of Mali Losinj is very pretty. But after a few visits you've seen everything. The staff at these harbor restaurants are annoying, always chatting you up and trying to direct you to a restaurant.
Shopping is a bit problematic. The supermarket on the square covers your daily needs, depending on your requirements. KONZUM and LIDL are no good, but MARKET is good.
There is no cycle path network or it is adventurous.
The two square restaurants are very expensive 4 Aperol-Spritz 40 euros, simple pizza 11 euros. The pizza from the city is much cheaper and also delivers to the square, which is not so popular.
Dolphin watching" is also offered on the square, or rather arranged. 65 euros per person. Fierce! You can also do it on your own at the harbor for 30 euros.
The pitch prices are also hefty. For 11 nights for 4 people during the Whitsun vacations 1000 euros, and it wasn't close to the beach.
Extra praise for the cleaning staff. The toilets were great.
Perhaps the site could do with a new reception building. The shabby wooden barracks have had their day. The staff deserve better.

Store opening hours (end of May/June) very unusual (8-12 and 18-20)Tempting location, but.......We arrived 3 days before the Whitsun vacations. Everything was perfect. It's a beautiful and well-kept site with brand new sanitary buildings (where we were. We had a (very small and narrow) premium pitch with a sea view. The small sunbathing areas by the sea were sufficient and there were still bread... rolls in the market at 9 o'clock. After that there was nothing left. Sun loungers by the sea much (!) too small. There was already a queue in front of the market before it opened (8 am), anyone who arrived after 8:30 went away empty-handed except for the bland white bread.....
It's a joke that there's almost no decent sunbathing area in the aqua park (apart from a small section with floorboards, otherwise just concrete flooring or gravel). All this in the sun. You only find out that the sun loungers with umbrellas cost 90 KN, regardless of whether you arrive in the morning or late in the afternoon, when you lie down....
The proximity to the lovely town of Mali Losinj and Veli Losinj makes up for it somewhat.

But also planted with lots of trees. The aqua park was closed due to construction work (April 30). For a site open all year round, nothing is open in the low season. Neither bakers nor other stalls. The price-performance ratio is not right here at all. The village of Mali Losinj can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes and offers everything, cafés, restaurants, bakers, butchers, supermarkets etc. We can only recommend a trip to Lubenice, but the last 5.5 km... are not allowed for motorhomes, the road is incredibly narrow.
In the pine trees, watch out for nests of the pine processionary moth, which are active at night and drop small green balls (droppings) on everything standing there.
We were there twice in the winter months, October/November and now Feb/March, and it was very good for us.
The campsite offers a lot more in summer, including an aqua park.
About the guests:
on the pitch we booked, we were immediately chased away loudly as we would take away the person's view. As she had used 4 CCE sockets for radiant heaters etc., this was probably the reason. Given the unbeatably low price at this time, the operator probably makes a loss with such guests. As there were unfortunately only 2 toilets for both men and women, which were cleaned to a tee by the cleaning staff, it is incomprehensible how guests leave them. Something must have gone wrong in the upbringing. Also the entrance door was partly wide open, doesn't it cost your own money for heating or what? Two large pine cones from Sienna were stolen from the drawbar, you wonder what pensioners are capable of.
All in all, you have to decide whether you are willing to accept the more time-consuming and expensive journey (bridge KRK subject to charge, ferry one way approx. 60-70€).Automaticky preložené. - Maik M.July 2021PozitívneModern sanitary facilities but the cleanliness depends more on the guests than on the staff Mali Lošinj is a beautiful little town that is easily accessible on foot The landscape is beautiful and you can walk almost endlessly by the seaNegatívneAccess to the sea is difficult because it gets deep very quickly and the 2 bays on the site are too small to be able to lie down there relaxed (but the water is super clean)cikat - it should have been better onceDefinitely not a 5 star place because as it has already been described the sanitary facilities are too small for the size of the place. The staff seems overwhelmed and the description of the plots are not correct (we had booked Supirior with water, sewage, electricity and TV but there are only about... 15 plots that have that a further subdivision would be desirable) we had several power outages during our stay from 1min to about 2 hours!
The campsite itself lacks the small stalls with fruit, fish, wine and above all ice cream that are typical of Croatia and which you can visit on an evening walk (ice cream) - these are said to have existed in the past!
The access to the sea is not so nice for smaller children as it gets deep very quickly - I was 189cm and could no longer stand after about 3m - the 2 bathing bays are too small for the size of the place.
However, if you want to walk along the concrete paths by the sea in the evening, you can enjoy it very much with a very nice view....

What can I say, it was always a pure vacation. The journey from is a bit long (by ferry) but if you are traveling by motorhome, there is a clear advantage. In my opinion, the journey is the reward and there are more than enough places to stay on the way to Chikat that are also beautiful. Opatja is one of them.
