Another negative point is that there are more signs with "no dogs allowed" than signs where dogs are allowed. After our arrival, a member of staff visited us and asked if everything was OK.
The campsite is located on the Ijsselmeer with its own beach section and beach promenade with beach bars.
Various rentals... offer SUP's and surfboards.
Each pitch is equipped with electricity and water points are scattered around the site.
The sanitary building is always clean and showers can be used with a card. This is topped up with €5 on arrival.
There is a toilet block on the beach.
Various electric boats can be hired at the nearby beach resort.
The campsite also has a well-stocked supermarket and a snack bar.
Fresh bread rolls and pastries are available daily in the supermarket.
Cycle routes are well signposted via the junction system.
There are two beach bars on the beach promenade.
The site is very quiet, next to a marina. Makkum, with its beautiful market square, can be reached by bike in about 10 minutes.

There are two beach bars and a store for sandwiches, food etc. The showers are clean and fairly new. However, the site is ideal for caravans or wind/kitesurfers.NegatívneUnfortunately, the pitches are very muddy. The grass is usually completely broken and you just stand in the dirt, especially when it rains. That wasn't so great in the camper van without an awning. Otherwise, it was right on the water, a paradise for surfers and other wind sports enthusiasts. The sanitary facilities were new and very clean! You can be in Maqkkum in 10 minutes by bike. A really great place worth seeing. There's also a great supermarket on site that has everything you need. We were allowed to stay until the evening at no extra charge, normally check out at 11 o'clock (provided that the pitch was not booked again for the day - logical). The sanitary building is modern and was cleaned 4 times a day, whether this is always the case or only at Corona times I can't say of course. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The great promenade along the beach is very well maintained and very beautiful.NegatívneAt weekends it is unfortunately very loud until late at night if you are close to permanent campers. They don't believe in a good night's sleep.It's worth the trip and we would love to come backThe campsite is located directly on the IJsselmeer and is ideal for all kinds of water sports. Located directly on the Ijsselmeer with a sandy beach. Lots of surfers. Very good sanitary facilities; friendly staff. Trips to a gray seal sandbank are offered directly from the site. Very nice! I really liked it there, the sanitary facilities are exemplary. Unfortunately, there are also negative aspects, because the campsite is sometimes very cramped, which means that the quality of the vacation suffers enormously... because of the noise or the field of vision. In addition, the operator wants an advance payment and if you leave early for personal reasons, there is no refund. The operator won't even let you talk to him :-( --- Het grote vakantiepark en de camping heeft een prachtige lag op het IJsselmeer. I thought het daar heel goed, de sanitaire voorzieningen zijn exemplarisch. However, there are also negative things, because the camping site is very small, but there is a lot of load on the accommodation due to the volume or the signage. De operator wil VORKASSE en als u voortijdig vertrekt om persoonlijke redenen, is er geen restitutie. Very friendly and competent reception. Sufficient pitches. Lots of dogs but not annoying. Direct access to the beach. However, the only sanitary building was very often closed for cleaning. We booked an excursion to see the seals.... The beach is great and the sea gets shallower over a long stretch. Great for children! There is a supermarket, a bistro and a pizzeria not far from the campsite. The prices are reasonable.
