Would actually be a nice place...
... that you could make more of. As previously described, we also found many of the pitches very uneven. The site as a whole seems somehow unloved and almost overgrown. I don't know how I could describe it better. Everything else is good, the reception is friendly, the sanitary facilities are adequate... and tidy at this time of year. But you get the impression that more or less everything on the site has been left natural, and the gravel that has been used to try and level out the surfaces doesn't really help if you have to drive on wedges. There are nicer places at Lac Du Der. The swimming pool next door is nice.

Friendly reception, pool looked good, bread on pre-order. Restaurant well attended but not tested by ourselves. Shady sides: Pitches very sloping, shady, either with moss or coarse gravel. One sanitary room quite new, but much too small. 3 toilets and 1 urinal for approx. 50 pitches in this area. Therefore queues and quickly dirty. But there was actually toilet paper. Smell of sewer in the building.

Very clean and friendly reception
Stayed here for one night. The campsite is right next to Lac du der, a bathing lake, 2 minutes' walk away. The lake itself has a sandy beach and a playground. We were allowed to choose our own pitch on the campsite, it is very green and has lots of trees, so you can choose a shady spot. There are two... mixed sanitary facilities. For the first time we had toilet paper and soap here, and even a hand dryer and a hairdryer :) There is also a small heated pool at the entrance. There is free wifi throughout the site, unfortunately the connection drops every 5 minutes, but reconnects relatively quickly. Unfortunately not suitable for streaming movies. Tested with a WIndows, an Android and an Apple device, so it's definitely down to the WiFi. The showers are warm and very pleasant (in my opinion the best shower on our 2-week tour of France). In the evening you can order baguettes and bread at reception, which are then ready to pick up in the morning. The man at reception is very friendly :) We paid 20 euros for 2 people with a VW bus and electricity. Price/performance perfectly fine! We would definitely come back!

Now I know what natural means
We were only there for one night, which is all we needed: the site is located well outside the village in a forest near the Lac du Der and is very natural, the pitches are very uneven, some of which are significantly elevated from the path and vary in size. There are small animals lying on the gravel... path. Males and females are not separated in the wash house. Very unkempt and dirty sanitary block, no toilet paper or soap. Obviously more emphasis is placed on the pool. Baguettes can be ordered the evening before. The lake is a 2-minute walk away. There is a playground there, but also on the campsite itself. There is also a table tennis table and a rusty barbecue for all guests.
