"Good transit campsite - Park-like grounds directly on the river. Very friendly, German-speaking reception staff. Ideal starting point for excursions into the Ardeche valley. Sanitary facilities old, in need of renovation. The sanitary facilities were not separated by gender and some of the doors to the wash cubicles were missing. You have to bring your own toilet paper.

" - We wanted to stay 3 nights in July 2010 during the high season. However, we left after just 2 nights: our pitches were right between the sanitary facilities and a youth camp. Relaxation was out of the question. The banks of the Ardèche were very dirty. We didn't feel comfortable here. I think we were a bit unlucky with our pitch. On a positive note, the staff were very, very friendly and accommodating!

Profil

The campsite is located on the banks of the river, next to a bathing beach that is supervised in summer. Socialising is our priority, we strive to make you feel at home. Leave your car, everything can be reached on …foot from our campsite. The centre of VALLON PONT D'ARC with its famous market and typical shops is only 800m away. On site there are canoe rentals, fishing spots and bathing places. We offer beautiful stabilised pitches of 100m2 for your camper or caravan. There is access to electricity on each pitch. There is also a place to leave your waste water, empty the chemical toilet and fill up with water. And of course you have access to sanitary facilities. Safe swimming in the river From the campsite you can go straight to the riverbank, where the view of the high cliffs is characteristic of this area. There you can swim, fish or sit on the river bank and take in the liveliness on and around the water. In this part of the river there is a small dam and a wooden terrace. Around it there are several places to sunbathe or stretch out under one of the trees. In summer, there is a lifeguard at the river who keeps a watchful eye on everything.
