Directly at the Pont d Arc
Campsite right next to the Pont d Arc. If you want to see the natural stone arch in the Ardeche, this is the place for you. The infrastructure is very old, run down and was not well maintained in May. It felt as if it hadn't been cleaned since the fall (dried leaves in the sanitary buildings). One sanitary building was completely out of order. The site lives from its location.

Beautiful place near Pont du Gard
Mega beautiful place in the middle of trees different large places with electricity without sewage and fresh water. A few minutes walk to the beautiful bridge and 10-15 minutes by bike to Remoullins with various restaurants and a supermarket, where you can book various kayak tours or relax on the campsite... or in your own pool. Checking in is easy and you can choose a pitch and check in afterwards. Sometimes it is not quite clear how the vehicles should be parked. The electricity is flat rate (6 amps) and it is worth checking the column beforehand to see if it works. Only French or English is spoken at the registration desk German is not even triedOn the site there is a small store which always offers fresh bread in the morning.

Great location, sanitary facilities in very poor condition
Stayed at the campsite for two nights. The reception was very friendly, the location is great, right on the Ardèche with a bathing area and a view of the Pont d'Arc. The sanitary facilities were in a pretty poor state in terms of cleanliness and technical standard.

The tip for us in the region. Only 20 m from the small sandy beach and not as crowded as the other pitches. The toilets were great for the low season and a new sanitary building was also built. I find it bad that everything is housed in one room, i.e. toilets, showers, washbasins and that the water cannot... be regulated (always too warm), therefore one point deduction. No internet. The price-performance ratio on the pitch is unbeatable. You really only pay half the price of other campsites. You don't need a swimming pool because you have the river right outside the door with great bathing opportunities. Also ideal for dogs. They can move around freely here and are free of charge even in the low season. There are also hiking opportunities along the river. In the next village Salvas (500 m away) you can buy everything for your daily needs in a well-stocked and inexpensive corner store. Fresh baguettes are available directly in the store in front of the campsite. Vallon Pont d`arc is only 1.5 km away on foot. Nice town for shopping and strolling. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. I hope that the campsite won't be so full next time because of my advertising :-)
