This means that those who have booked the panorama view pitches (without panorama, as they are overgrown) have to walk far across the pitch with the toilet to empty it.Campsite, supposedly with a great panoramic view, wifi and satellite!I don't know where to start! After 16 days on Lake Garda without reception, my husband chose this secluded pitch because of wifi and sat. on the pitch advertised with a panoramic view (overgrown with bushes) so no view of the valley, the wifi worked modestly and of course there was no reception for the... TV due to the trees behind us! After I pointed this out to the staff, I got the answer, I don't understand that, the reception is shown as green here! We were only on site for 2 nights and the toilets were checked on 11.09. Our arrival was on 12.09. There was a toilet in the toilet room with the glasses folded up, in a very unsightly splashed (after digestion) condition and there was toilet paper in the corner! The taps would have liked to see a cloth! The showers splashed up to the door so that the cabin and things got a bit wet! Until our departure on 14.09. the rooms were not even checked or cleaned! We are of the opinion that for the price of a comfort pitch this is an unreasonable thing and since the staff (very friendly) did not react to our shortcomings, I would like to vent my anger in this way. I'm actually like that, talking people can be helped, which unfortunately did not apply in this case! We are talking about a 4 star place! That was the only nice thing about it.NegatívneWe paid a total of 74 euros for two days in the low season. 4.50 euros for electricity flat rate. We were certainly standing nicely but the price? The site boasts four stars. How they came together is a mystery to us. The sanitary building is clearly getting on in years. The mirrors were all blind underneath. Some of the lever mixers at the washbasins were very stiff. The noise was also a bit much, opposite a roof was covered from Saturday morning to Saturday evening at 20:00Very expensive and getting on in yearsI wouldn't go there again because it's too expensive. Two days for 74 euros is a lot of money. 4.50 euros for electricity is too much. If everything else had been right we would have gritted our teeth and put up with all the money. But the sanitary house is getting on in years. Blind mirrors underneath,... stiff lever mixers. Showers with very little water pressure. And not really hot. Construction noise all day. Food opposite was not really good. Two salads that were under water. The restaurant is not part of the campsite, but rounds off the bad impression we got. There was still rubble from the building site and concrete foundations for some squared timber... lying around in the corners. We were kindly taken to our pitch by an employee, which was really good.
The sanitary facilities at the reception exuded the charm of the seventies and reminded me of my school toilets, only without the Edding smearings.

In shock, we left the bikes on the roof and fled the next day. The site was totally overcrowded and there was no need to put up an awning as you were basically sitting on your neighbor's lap... anyway. Due to the constant coming and going, fine dust was constantly whirled up from the gravel paths, life was forced to take place indoors and so the non-existent outdoor area was bearable. The sanitary facilities are neither modern nor clean, which rounds off the overall picture.
Our conclusion: Anyone looking for relaxation and a laid-back vacation should avoid this site. If you are traveling with a caravan, you will find a place near the highway where you can stay overnight and which is significantly cheaper. If, on the other hand, you have a motorhome with the appropriate amenities and can do without external sanitary facilities, you should try your luck here. We chose it spontaneously. However, we were then allocated a pitch on the site where either the car would fit next to the caravan or the folding chair. After speaking to reception (another member of staff), I was told I could choose a different pitch and we... were given the smallest pitch of all. As there were quite a few empty seats, this was completely incomprehensible to me.
Bread rolls had to be ordered by 6pm and could then be collected from 8am.
The front sanitary block was older but clean. However, there wasn't enough space in the cubicles, so you had to use the hooks in front. I found the price quite high, as there was also a large construction site directly in front of the site (the site can't do anything about this, but you could temporarily include it in the price planning).
The closed barrier at lunchtime was also a deterrent. After all, I am a guest and not locked in.Automaticky preložené.

We spent a few nice days at the campsite in June 2021. We had pitch no. 2 with direct access to the water. The pitch is fine, the sanitary facilities were always clean and we liked the hourly chimes. The on-site restaurant, a pizzeria, is very good and the Corona rules are implemented... competently. The only annoying thing is the broken wooden plank bridge. Every time a vehicle crosses it, it makes terribly loud rumbling noises caused by loose planks. This means that the night's rest is over at 7 a.m., at least for the first pitches. Annoying as these pitches are also more expensive. There are also irritations at the entrance. The bridge is closed to vehicles over 3T. You are directed to the site via a detour, a narrow farm track with no alternative route. This is a one-way system. When leaving, you are therefore forced to drive over the bridge, which is actually closed. Heavy vehicles are also not diverted in the event of heavy traffic. Who will be asked to pay in the event of damage will then become clear.
We will spend a few days there from time to time, simply a beautiful spot on earth.

Very narrow access across the river to the pitch.Campsite in a good locationThe Kratzmühle campsite offers a very good location for those passing through on their way south (or north) and for hikes in the Altmühltal. We use the campsite as a stopover on our way to Italy or Croatia with the caravan.
In our opinion, the site is well suited for an overnight stay. The pitches are... level and graveled with firm ground. Central fresh water supply at taps in several places on the site. Some tourist pitches with direct water connection. The sanitary facilities are ok, functional, but no longer up to date in terms of equipment and comfort. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities does not always depend solely on the operator (!!).
The access to the reception is for caravans and very large motorhomes with care to manage. Barrier times are optimal for those passing through (07:00 - 22:00).
As travelers passing through, we did not make full use of the campsite's facilities and leisure activities, so I cannot rate them. However, the surrounding area, with its bathing lake and river, seems idyllic and close to nature.
The hygiene measures and regulations of the campsite operator in June 2021 seemed sufficient to us, we felt safe there.

In the evening from ten until after midnight, noise as if from a pouring fan. Sanitary facilities not up to date and not enough in high season. Showers in the upper sanitary block without partition, meaning everything was wet. Windows without insect screens. Poor lighting of the paths to the sanitary facilities in the evening - risk of falling or twisting your ankle is almost unavoidable on uneven paths. Only 1 place to empty the chemical toilet (machine), no possibility to flush the tank otherwise.not againCertainly nice for parents with children, but for us the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. Not for people who are not good on foot.

There is only one machine for emptying the chemical toilet and it was broken. You had to empty via a shaft on the... floor and you could not flush the toilet, even on request no water was provided.
The Kratzmühle restaurant could be friendlier.
When we asked if there was ice cream for the children, we were told that they didn't go to any more trouble than necessary. From our side they didn't get any more work. Unfortunately we got a pitch almost on the children's playground, so it was very noisy even in the tent. During the day this is still acceptable but the children played even after 10pm. Until midnight, fans were still running in the nearby buildings, which made... it even more difficult to fall asleep in the tent. There were also cars that drove onto the campsite after 10 pm, unfortunately there was no hedge at our pitch that would have shielded us from the thoroughfare.
Watch out for purchases in the kiosk, 2 beers, 1 apple spritzer and 1 packet of potato chips cost us over €10.
If you can get a quieter pitch, this is a good campsite with lots of excursion options.Automaticky preložené.
