Inadequate infrastructure
Only one discharge for chemical toilet at the entrance, i.e. 900 steps or more, depending on location. Unfortunate solution to camper disposal. We moved after one night, a pity for the beautiful location right by the sea.

I think you're making a mistake with the soulac sur mer camping car park, which is next to the campsite.

Mobile home estate
Site dominated by mobile homes with some very sandy pitches. Sanitary facilities old but very clean. Reception friendly, multilingual and professional. Pitch with direct access to the beach and therefore very expensive.

Too many mobile homes, too few sanitary facilities, little support in the event of night-time disturbances,

Since the changeover to a large number of mobile homes, caravan campers no longer feel particularly welcome. There are not enough sanitary facilities. The site management's lack of consideration for guests, some of whom have been coming for decades, is not conducive to further stays.

Ideal for not sleeping
2 major incidents that left more than bitter memories for a 3-star campsite! Rather addictive site neighbors ... booze and chichon party until 3 am. Being in a tent, we enjoyed it all evening. No intervention from campsite management. The next day, a broken water pipe rendered the sanitary block unusable.... In short, a rip-off evening ... the manager agreed to a 15€ reduction ... a lesser evil ... but that doesn't take anything away from the problems encountered.

RESERVATION of a Mobil Hom sea view corresponds to a pitch on the sanitary block of the campsite.... Bad faith on the part of the manager.... Nothing to do with the photos on the site.... Ridiculous swimming pool..... Campsite site next to a rubbish dump... Not to be recommended

We spent one night at the Les Sables Dargent campsite. In the low season, we paid 18.00 euros for a pitch for 2 people and a car. The site is located directly on an (unguarded) beach (5 min walk). There is a guarded section of beach 500m further on. We only used the existing bar to order breakfast (baguette... and croissant). When we were there it was very quiet and empty. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy. One of the bar staff speaks English, the reception staff only speak French but are very helpful and checking in was no problem.
