Ideal for visitors to Dresden, as there are two bus routes directly in front of it, which take you into the city center in no time at all. Bus tickets are available at reception....

The registration machine wasn't working, so we simply chose a pitch and plugged in the electricity.
In the beautiful but not particularly warm wash house, I happened to meet the operator who, when asked, explained... that the campsite's own restaurant was currently closed and that there were no restaurants nearby. You would have to drive to Dresden. This was not apparent on the website.
The next bad news the next morning: the showers weren't working. This was the case until the next morning.
For these reasons, we decided to leave early. There wasn't even an apology.Automaticky preložené.

This wasn't just my impression, it was also a topic of conversation with other campers. One woman, certainly over 70, asked what the parking options were like in Dresden and was told "you'll have to find somewhere"! That's an answer that leaves me speechless! The opposite was the nice man at reception, friendly and always with a genuine smile on his face.Easter 2023Nice site, pitches sometimes very uneven. Sanitary facilities clean, water nice and warm for showers. A big thank you to the nice cleaning lady, always friendly. Bus connection right in front of the campsite.NegatívneMany people probably only used this campsite to pass through, it was daily arrivals and departures from early in the morning until late in the evening and therefore no rest. The lunch break was also not observed, it was always very restless.For us it was an adventure vacation, even though we wanted to relaxA big disadvantage was the use of electricity, there are only 6 amps available. We constantly had to think about what was being used, if we wanted to make coffee everything else had to be switched off, the same applied to boiling eggs. Only one thing worked at a time, otherwise the fuse blew. That was... very annoying, we must have run to the fuse box 100 times in the 1 week. There is also a lack of organization, we had booked until the 24th, on the 20th the barrier did not open in the evening because we were no longer saved in the system. The constant arrivals and departures also took some getting used to. The pitches are freely selectable and also spacious, the disadvantage is that the cars should be on the lane and therefore an exit from the pitch is a challenge. Our neighbor already had a nice scratch on his car. We parked our car on the grass, nobody said anything, but we didn't want to risk someone driving into it, that would have been missing. All in all, it wasn't a relaxing vacation for us, but an adventure vacation to see what might happen next. We won't be coming here again.Automaticky preložené.

Two bus lines that stop directly in front of the site provide a quick and stress-free connection to the city center.
(Tickets can even be purchased on site!)

Nevertheless, it is central and has a bus connection to the city directly in front of the site. The pitches are spacious, freely selectable and well maintained. Our 3 year old grandchild liked the playground. The sanitary facilities are NEW, very clean... and spread over several buildings across the site. The hygiene regulations were observed very carefully. There is also an "ironing room", washing machines and dryers, a kitchen with fridge and a small restaurant. Scooters and bicycles can be hired at fair prices. The kiosk with fresh bread rolls "without pre-ordering", other delicacies and accessories for camping needs is also good and the price-performance ratio is ok. The pool was unfortunately closed due to Corona. There is a natural swimming pool next to the campsite.

Friendly operators. Nevertheless, there was a major shortcoming during our stay: the sanitary facilities were only cleaned superficially on the FOURTH DAY of our vacation. Not acceptable in times of Corona.
Further weak... points are defective place lamps and a 6 ampere network - whenever the coffee machine is supposed to run, everything else has to be turned off. No longer up to date. W-LAN so weak even near the reception.
