The atmosphere among the guests and the course team is very peaceful, the location is fantastically beautiful, the possibility to come spontaneously and stay as long as you like makes the place very accessible (almost like in the old days ;-), you eat very well in the restaurant: small menu, but everything is really homemade, just as it should be Fantastic, varied hiking area

Maloja itself doesn't have much to offer as a village, which is why we ate on the square 4 out of 5 evenings.
Pure relaxation
The stay was super relaxing, the place and the friendly team can absolutely be recommended.

Beautifully situated campsite at the upper end of the Egadine Lake District at 1800 meters. The sanitary facilities are simple, but modern and clean. In the morning there is a bread roll service at Swiss prices :-) The site is slightly sloping, but the operator provides enough boards to put underneath... so that we were able to align our tandem caravan without any problems. A wonderful hiking trail starts immediately behind the campsite, allowing you to cover 500 or more meters in altitude in no time at all. From the lower end of the campsite to the lake is just under 100 meters. We did see a few children splashing around in the lake in mid-August, but the temperature felt like 10° or less. So with its crystal-clear water, it's more for the eye.

Place left in its natural state
I visited this site with my bike and tent. A campsite for real nature lovers, without marked out pitches. The tundra-like terrain takes some getting used to, but if you like it "wild", this is the place for you. The sanitary block is simply furnished and was clean during my stay. The reception and a... small pizzeria are located in the same building. An area with a slight slope is available for caravans and campers. The site is located in a forest clearing directly on Lake Sils, ideal for surfing, hiking, cycling and bike tours. The distance to Maloja is about 2 km.

Actually, everything has been said in the comments above. Great, widely scattered campsites, somewhat small, tightly packed pitches for WW and WM. No children's playground, no recreation room. At the entrance to the campsite there was a large tepee which was probably intended for this purpose. Location... directly on the lake, but too cold for swimming. Many hikes possible directly from the site, post bus stop approx. 15 minutes walk from the site. Also ideal for mountain biking. Super place, gladly again!

Very beautiful, natural site. Caravans and mobile homes separated from tents. Very spacious for tents. Very clean, modern sanitary facilities. Small hut restaurant with very good pizza from the traditional wood-fired oven. Very nice family atmosphere. Ideal for hikers and cyclists

Very familiar atmosphere, great location on Lake Sils; sanitary facilities very clean and in top condition; the rustic coziness in the log cabin is great (and the pizzas there are delicious); the staff is super nice and friendly; the other infrastructure for camping is very "basic" (in a good and bad sense);

Very simple infrastructure, left close to nature, a little away from the village, directly on the lake, many hiking opportunities, cycle paths, ideal for mountain biking directly at the campsite. Small selection of food but really good, family atmosphere, idyllic location but please note that the altitude... of approx. 1800 m can lead to a sensitive coolness, especially at night, we had nights with 5 degrees in July, nevertheless, this was our second stay and not the last.
