"CAR CAMP PUNTA POVILE - A good starting point for visiting the national parks of North Velebit and Risnjak. Pebble beach, water shoes recommended. I don't know if this is always the case, but we were surprised by the cold sea during our stay. At the sandy beach in Novi Vinodolski, 5 km away, the water was much warmer.

"Really bad experience with the owner - The staff at the reception and in the adjacent bar are very friendly, but the owner, Srećko Butković, is disrespectful - he allows himself too much. We stopped at the campsite on the way home and spent 1 night. The next day we left the campsite by the required time, but before going home, we went to their café for a coffee, as it is good and the view from there is beautiful. We parked outside, in a spot that another car had just driven out of. Just as we get our coffee (so about 5 to 10 minutes later), an elderly gentleman first tries to force open the driver's door, but as the car was locked, he starts breaking the wipers on the car. I quickly run to the car and ask what's wrong, he shouts at me that I'm not allowed to park there, that there's a space for people from the campsite. When I say that we have just left the campsite, he starts to behave differently, but he doesn't apologise to me, he just gets in his car and drives off. The man, being the father of a minister, allows himself everything. --------------------------------------------------- Really bad experience with the owner. I quickly run to the car and ask what's wrong, he shouts at me that I shouldn't park there, that there is a place for people from the camp. When I say that we just left the camp, he (was shocked) started acting different, but he did not apologized to me, he just got in his car and drove away.

"Imposition - The location is ok, the sanitary facilities an imposition showers behind a curtain and outdated only dripping showers with cold water. Located directly on the street.
