From the CP I tried to find the first settlements near the glacier. The view of the steep mountains is fantastic. The staff (especially the owner) is unfortunately only moderately friendly and overly fussy. Examples:... 1) Small children playing with a few pebbles on a gravelled pitch were directly forbidden with a stern look. Comment from the owner: That's not a sandpit. 2) The use of street chalk was prohibited - small paintings already made by small children on the pathway were removed by the owner with water within minutes. Her comment: "That is forbidden, there is nothing to discuss. Overall, it seems that nothing has been invested in the campsite in recent years. The sanitary facilities are relatively old and there are very few of them. The play equipment on the small playground is quite dilapidated. Too bad, the location could have been better. We found the operators to be relatively non-committal (by no means unfriendly), we have experienced better. The sanitary facilities are tight and were closed for a long time at lunchtime, which was unpleasant for... us because we had planned an activity in the afternoon and would have liked to wash our lunch dishes beforehand. The mega beautiful place. An insane natural spectacle. We could choose from several places our place. The owner family is very friendly and helpful. The campsite is away from the hustle and bustle of Lauterbrunnen. Starting point for many beautiful excursions and bike tours. We loved the bike tour from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren. As I was here at the end of April, it was almost deserted and you could enjoy the peace and quiet in a beautiful mountain panorama surrounded by mountains and waterfalls. A perfect location to visit... the Trümmelbach Falls and of course to take the cable car up to the Schilthorn. Many thanks also to the host! Everything was very uncomplicated and unconventional. The setting is magnificent (the town is framed by majestic mountains). The owners are very friendly but not very accommodating regarding arrival times (no late arrivals possible after 7pm). The sanitary facilities... are well equipped, although it would be preferable if the outside door were closed to keep out the cold. Another small point: the sound of the nearby waterfall is pleasant during the day, but the volume is not negligible at night. It's very quiet and we had a pleasant stay.Automaticky preložené.

The campsite manager is super nice. He gave us great information about possible hikes and other leisure activities. It couldn't have been better. The sanitary area was clean and well maintained. However, due to the time of... year, it was relatively cold in the sanitary facilities as they are not closed rooms. Pure nature. The guests on the pitch were quiet and pleasant. Well, the atmosphere of staying in this paradise corner cannot be described in words alone - you simply have to see it with your own eyes.
