We then stopped at the visitors' parking lot and I filled up our water supply with 20 liters of water from the campsite. I didn't see any problem with this as we wanted to register... the next day and water is free at the campsite. Some time later, a car drove very close to our motorhome, the campsite manager jumped out, hit our car with his fist and shouted at me that I had stolen 20 liters of water from him and should pay €20 and we should leave the site in 5 minutes. Then he also threw our 3 items, which were lying on the pitch, into the camper van. We had nothing to counter this aggression and we paid the completely exorbitant price for the 20 liters of water and left.Automaticky preložené.

Maps can be borrowed free of charge from reception.

The well-renovated site has grass pitches, some of which are terraced. The sanitary blocks are simple and clean. Depending on the location, it could be 200 m to get there. The bread rolls... we ordered were even delivered to our caravan door, what a service! The price/performance ratio was also good. We had a lovely Whitsun with 6 people and nobody could fault the rainy weather. The area is ideal for extensive cycling and hiking tours.
We will do that next year.
We will definitely be back.Automaticky preložené.- Alexander W.May 2021PozitívneThe size of the pitches, the peace and quiet, the operators.NegatívneSanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but clean!Very quiet, idyllic campsiteWe were spontaneously on site in May 2021 when Lower Saxony decided overnight to welcome guests from outside the region. The spontaneous registration and reception went very smoothly. When we arrived, we were first allowed to choose a suitable pitch and opted for the pitches at the very top at the edge... of the forest. Wonderfully large pitches, and there were no instructions on where to stand.
Situated right on the edge of the forest, it is of course incredibly quiet, the loudest thing was the cuckoo. This is certainly not the right place for families with children who are looking for lots of children's entertainment, but for everyone else who wants the exact opposite, it is just the right place. Bicycles are required, as there is virtually nothing around except a few meadows, fields and woods.
There are a few restaurants in Müden, but I can't say to what extent they are open again. In any case, it wasn't easy in May 2021. But Faßberg has a lot to offer and plenty of shopping opportunities. To get there, however, you either need a bike or a car.
Overall, a beautiful campsite with great operators who really try hard (in the morning the ordered bread rolls are brought directly to the campsite). The sanitary facilities are certainly a bit older, but always clean. I've seen more modern facilities, but they were nowhere near as clean, so I'd rather stay at the Sonnenberg :-)

Rusttijd is from 1 to 3 uur. Toen we de laatste middag om 12.15 uur aan de vriendelijke eigenaresse vroegen naar een leuk dorp kregen we een fietsroute aangereikt. "Nr. 2 dan ben je de hele middag zoet." En ze liep naar de keuken. "I'm off to eat." And more information... was not given out. We voelen ons niet serieus genomen, als demente bejaarden betutteld. Vanwege haar eten, terwijl het nog geen pauze was. Kortom: een vriendelijke vrouw maar niet vakbekwaam. Een ander voorbeeld. Broodjes opgeven voor volgende dag. Daaraan zit een eindtijd. We arrived one hour before the opening and wanted to do half an hour before the opening. Dat kon niet (er is geen winkel). Terwijl ze zelf de volgende ochtend de broodjes bij de bakker ophaalt. Normaal mag ze zich aan de tijden houden, maar zo vlak na aankomst is enige soepelheid gewenst. ====== I gaf mijn kritiek om u te helpen uw gasten het nog plezieriger te maken. Reageren met jij-bakken (wat de klant fout zou doen) en in de verdediging schieten helpt niet, integendeel. - We were not in the bistro, because we did not arrive at our reception. My wife, and then myself, realized that we were too busy to make our lunch, outside lunch time, in advance. We hebben ons gevoel beiden toen kenbaar gemaakt, maar vonden toen geen gehoor. Uw schriftelijke commentaar nu is overeenkomstig. - U vertelde ons zelf dat u 's ochtends zelf de broodjes ging ophalen bij de bakker. Therefore, it seemed a little bit too much to be a new guest at home. But as u moet faxen kan ik het begrijpen. - Velen van ons, 60 tot 80 jaar oud, zijn valgevoeliger en hebben, vanwege de vloer, gebruik gemaakt van het verderop gelegen toiletgebouw. Uw campinglocatie is prachtig, uw vriendelijkheid is super en compenseert uw empathisch vermogen ruimschoots. The organization was very satisfied with your stay with us, that's why we got the banner. Therefore we do not fully understand your comments, You have been sitting in the bistro for over an hour to surf the internet, When we informed you that we were... going to eat, everything was OK.....5 minutes later you pressed the bell, because yes we are always available to our guests, You insisted that you immediately received information about the bicycle routes, Maybe it was not "friendly" enough to your liking, or that you needed someone to react to something.But unfortunately we do not recognize ourselves in this review. The buns must be faxed to the baker before 18.00, You were here on time and we pointed this out to you and it was known to the organization, unfortunately you were too late to order afterwards. We have a "van Keulen" santair unit, as on so many campsites and this floor meets all conditions. The waste disposal area is located at the entrance/exit in order to keep the flies and the smell away from the campsite. In addition, our guests usually go cycling and hiking and what is more convenient than to throw away the garbage or the empty bottle from the previous evening. - Ursula K.September 2012The campsite is beautifully situated. There are 2 large meadows and several terrace pitches. The terrace pitches are very spacious. The young Dutch owners are very hospitable, helpful and nice. They haven't had the site for long and are still optimizing it. The atmosphere on the site is very pleasant.... The central location allows excursions in all directions. (Lüneburg, Celle, Soltau, HH etc.) The only thing I didn't like were the toilets. They are VERY clean, but the facilities are no longer up to date and I think that the operators will invest here in the future. The showers are new and great. I can highly recommend a vacation here.
