"Great and extremely friendly place - The friendliness of the campsite staff deserves special mention. We were greeted on arrival with a bottle of wine from the vineyards around the site (which was also very good). Registration was very straightforward and the site is beautifully situated. You have a wonderful view over the beautiful hilly landscape of the Marche and a direct view of the medieval village of Mondolfo, which is only a few minutes away by car. The sea is also just a short drive away and the towns of Pesaro, Ancona and Urbino are within easy reach for a day trip thanks to the proximity to the highway. The sanitary facilities are in good condition and very clean. Hot water was always available for the entire six days we were on the site, even though we usually didn't take a shower until around 10 pm (we've had very different experiences on other sites). We paid 23 euros per night at the end of May, which in our opinion is very good value for money. There is also a very good pizzeria on site, a small camping store with everything you need and a pool, which unfortunately only opens in June. All in all, the site is highly recommended. We will definitely visit again if we spend another vacation in the area. We have heard that many people also use the campsite as a place to stay overnight when passing through on their way to Greece.

"Fantastic locations in the Marche hills - The campsite is located in the hills of the province of Marche, near the coastal town of Fano (Adriatic Sea) on a hill on the edge of a ridge. The location itself is beautiful with views of the hills, Abruzzo and the nearby Adriatic Sea. Due to the mountain location, the campsite grounds are terraced and the approach to the pitches is quite steep. The terraces themselves are level and some of the 100 or so pitches are parceled out. Chalets, bungalows, a small hotel and a restaurant with terrace and swimming pool complete the site. ##### The well-kept campsite is in an exceptionally (*****) beautiful location and the family-run business makes every effort to ensure the well-being of its guests. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained, the restaurant offers tasty and simple regional cuisine as well as a large selection of pizzas, and in good weather you can sit on the large terrace with a wonderful view of the surrounding area. The two sanitary buildings are simple and sufficiently clean, and one of the buildings is powered exclusively by solar energy. ##### Access from the A14 Adriatic highway, Marotta junction, is via the narrow SP474 valley road. Regardless of what the satnav says: just before Ponte Rio, turn right past an industrial estate up an adventurously narrow, winding and steep road to Localita Stacciola, where the campsite is located on a hilltop. The campsite is about 5 km from the highway and the route is only partially signposted. I would therefore recommend checking the access road on a map service on the Internet in advance. ##### The flat, gravelled, semi-shaded pitches are spread over six terraces on the mountainside and have electricity. We found the entire site to be very well maintained. We would be happy to recommend this site to others. This is written by a camping friend.
