It is dominated by permanent campers, which was by no means negative. We were lucky enough to experience the village festival. The finest brass band music and everything your heart desires. But: good in the rain.Perfect for exploring the Bavarian ForestMany sights nearby. Short distance to the Bavarian Forest. You feel right at home. The owners are very nice and helpful. The majority of the CP are permanent campers. The pitches are flat and partly split. Water and electricity at the pitch. Sanitary facilities very clean and well maintained.
The site is pleasantly quiet.

Jens D.June 2021PozitívneRestNegatívneno store, no sale of bread rolls on Sundays and holidaysFamily-run campsite at the foot of the Bayer. ForestAccess to the site is very well signposted. The roads coming from the highway are somewhat winding and you have to be prepared for oncoming agricultural vehicles. Once you arrive at the site, check-in is very relaxed. We were shown our pitch and after about 30 minutes the operator came and asked us to... fill in the registration form. It couldn't be more relaxed. The site is very clearly laid out, so you won't find a site map here. There is no store on site and you have to order bread rolls the day before. There are no bread rolls on Sundays and public holidays. There are 2 hotels with restaurants in the village. Just above is a mini golf course including a beer garden. The restaurant was closed during our stay on the course. The sanitary facilities received an award from the ADAC in 2009, they were clean and we were given shower tokens at check-in. There were 3 shower cubicles for men and 2 for women. A big disadvantage is the roads (mostly agricultural vehicles) which run right next to the pitch, so you think one or the other is driving right through the pitch. You can also hear the guests of the minigolf beer garden. The main road, on the other hand, can be heard little or not at all. It all depends on the wind direction. Each pitch is equipped with electricity, water and waste water. If you have a small caravan, your car will fit on the pitch. Otherwise there are a few parking spaces in front of the campsite. If you are looking for peace and quiet, then this site is highly recommended. During our stay from Wednesday to Sunday, it was wonderfully quiet from Friday onwards, except for the vehicles driving right past the site, as already mentioned. When the weather is nice, this site is perfect for relaxing, as there is an outdoor pool within walking distance. However, the sanitary facilities need support.Cannot understand 4 starsFirst of all, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the pitch is tidy and adequate. At first glance, everything is well-kept, but if you take another look, you'll notice a few things. On the homepage and here it says beer garden with restaurant, there is also a bar, but no food. The beer garden looks... more run-down and like a building site and rather less inviting, as does the playground. The toilet building looks more like a cellar, even if the toilets are acceptable. There was a lack of cleanliness in the showers, from hair and whatnot in the drains to almost black joints. All in all, it seems a bit sleepy and less awake.Automaticky preložené.

Plots level, with chippings and turf, sufficient for caravan with awning and car. Water, waste water and electricity on each pitch. Sanitary facilities: Clean! In the anteroom with armchairs and... table, bookshelf, current flyers from the area, flower arrangements and fairy lights; what more could you want... Oh yes, the showers each have an anteroom... Operator: totally nice, competent and helpful. Shopping: not on the site, but a small supermarket within walking distance, 10km to the district town of Deggendorf..., Food: not on the site, but possible opposite at the mini golf course, good restaurants in the surrounding hotels e.g. Reblinger Hof Leisure: tennis court and mini golf opposite. in the surrounding area designated cycle paths and extensive, signposted network of hiking trails. recommended: Panoramarundweg, hiking trail to Hirschenstein and Regensburgstein. As soon as Brigitte welcomes you and gives you a briefing, you get the feeling that you have been accepted into a family, that you have simply arrived at the right place. A tour underlines the first impression: spacious, spotlessly clean sanitary facilities... that are lovingly decorated. Large pitches - with water and electricity connections, of course - and free Wi-Fi even in the last corner of the site. For dog owners, there is a small field path through the meadows next to the campsite for a quick walk. Of course, Brigitte has also thought of a dispenser for dog bags. Her loving, courteous nature seems to be passed on to the guests. Everyone - especially the permanent and regular guests - is open-minded and helpful. Newspapers and fresh bread rolls are available in the morning if ordered the evening before. And if you prefer to have breakfast served, you can take a seat in the rustic restaurant and let yourself be pampered. It's a shame that lunch and dinner are not on offer. The reception was very friendly and it continued as well as it started. The location, facilities and cleanliness of the campsite are first class. You can feel and see the attentive care of the "boss" everywhere. In the morning there is a bread roll service... and the daily newspaper (if desired). The village with restaurants and shopping facilities is within 10 minutes walking distance. If you are looking for peace and quiet and enjoy hiking, you are in good hands here. For mountain biking, however, you need a good level of fitness. The rule here is: no mercy for the calf! We can only warmly recommend this place, it's well worth a visit!Automaticky preložené.

Unfortunately with a few breaks when things didn't work out. The welcome is very warm and you immediately feel at home. My wife and I are looking for peace and quiet on vacation, which we get here. The site is beautifully laid out. As a camper for a week,... for example, you are well separated from campers who may just be passing through. This means that you are not exposed to the noise of people coming and going. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is second to none. There is also a shop in the village, which is within easy walking distance of the site. We will definitely continue to visit this campsite run by Brigitte and Gerd.
