I have to say, the campsite by the lake in Allensbach is really great! The location is just great - right on the shore, surrounded by greenery. It's really something different from the usual campsites, especially those in Italy.
The staff were really easy-going... and always helpful. The toilets were always clean, I saw the cleaning team regularly.
The food in the restaurant was really tasty, although it was a bit expensive. But the view of the lake made up for it. And the kiosk there was also great, super practical!
What I found particularly cool was the bathing meadow with playground and the extra area for swimming. There was always something going on!
And you know what? There's even a bread roll ordering service that you can use online!
There's also a short walk to the town, and you can even take a boat trip to the Reichenau. And for those who want to learn to surf, there's a surf school.
What I also found really great: there is an extra children's area with showers, washbasins and toilets, all of which are free of charge.
All in all, I can really recommend Camping am See Allensbach. Very narrow entrance (Womo has 9m) and very small places, everything very crowded and everyone walks between the wagons - a bit chaotic. Location very good, sanitary facilities clean but limited in number. None of those responsible wear... coronavirus face masks here, so only a few guests do. At the beginning you are guided to the site by a site employee and the electricity is connected... he has something of the Sun King, he struts around the site all day without saying hello, nothing. Of course, he doesn't need a mask either. Back to the square, Allensbach train station is a 15-minute walk away and another 15 minutes to Constance. Perfect. Shopping is not possible on the square but very good in Allensbach. We would come again even if the staff (also at the reception would be nice a little friendliness) is not particularly good.Automaticky preložené.

Ralf and Marcel live for their job and have been working tirelessly for many years to ensure that their guests have a successful... vacation. The new staff at reception were very nice, the arrival guides Ralf and Marcel very competent and always friendly and helpful. As always, we got a nice place with a view of the Gnadensee and enjoyed our vacation very much. The new... cabins and the newly designed driveway and the new plantings are a great success. The newly renovated sanitary building has finally been completed by the municipality of Allensbach and reopened ............ At Easter we spent very relaxing days there in the best sunshine. The team around Frank K. is very well organized - especially the reception committee Ralf and Marcel help wherever they can and always find a nice spot. Good entertainment... is also provided - live music right by the lake - wonderful. The site is not parceled out - we think that's special, as it means that WOMO/WOWA sizes can be catered for individually! The train station is not far away and you can get to Constance quickly by train. The electrical connection and the relatively short distance to the sanitary building were ok. Pre-ordering bread rolls and the site's own restaurant made culinary enjoyment easier. There are beautiful cycle paths. The 2 campsite employees who allocate the pitches make a lot of effort to please everyone, are always very quiet and very friendly. I think all age groups... are present, including a lot of children who make a lot of noise, but that doesn't bother you if you remember your childhood from time to time. In addition, the sanitary facilities are completely overloaded and inadequate. There are queues in front of the few toilets, the cleanliness is appalling and... the only cleaning - which takes hours - usually takes place in the mornings at peak times? The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation, very cramped and outdated, one of three sanitary areas has been completely closed since 2017 due to renovation work. Nothing was improved in winter and the staff at the information desk are helpful but also poorly informed. Until the day of the performance, none of the staff knew anything about Axel Deyda's appearance. No information on the homepage, no information in the event leaflet. The restaurant could certainly have made a lot more money. The positive aspect is the location directly on the Gnadensee. However, there is one caveat: due to the heat and the low water level, it is actually no longer possible to swim. Even at 50 m from the shore, you are just belly-deep in the water and here it becomes unpleasantly muddy and it is also not possible to swim comfortably due to aquatic plants. Too bad: the beautiful atmosphere with the sunsets over the Hegau with beautiful music and a family atmosphere cannot outweigh the organizational and infrastructural deficienciesAutomaticky preložené.

Some of the sanitary facilities were already closed in 2017 due to renovation work. The condition of the rest of the facilities was simply catastrophic. When we booked in 2018, we were assured that the facilities would be... renovated by the summer, but unfortunately this was not the case. If we had known this, we would certainly not have booked. Despite full occupancy and only a limited number of toilets, these are only cleaned once a day. Even the hard-boiled reach their limits here. It's a shame really, because the site is sensationally located right on the lake and the lido with its trees invites you to linger even on hot days. For men there were only 5 toilets, 4 urinals, 5 showers and it looked similar for women - including the public part of the seaside resort. The floor hadn't been mopped for days, dead animals everywhere and spiders rappelling down from... above. Pitches criss-crossed and close together. The sanitary facilities were closed for renovation by the local authority, but there was no sign of any work being carried out and a large group of young people who had arrived and exacerbated the situation. Reception closed from 5 pm. The only bright spots were the friendliness of the staff and the great restaurant. If one or two fewer cars were allocated, all other guests would have a hint of privacy. Only two of the possible 3 sanitary blocks were available. In addition, visitors to the freely usable outdoor pool adjacent to this pitch are also allowed to... use it. The closed block has probably been undergoing refurbishment by the town of Allensbach for some time. In this context, I don't want to think about the upcoming peak season. The remaining, open sanitary areas stand out due to their particular soiling and constant contamination. Who bears the main responsibility for this? The staff, the tenant, the owner? Even though Lake Constance lies at the site's feet, we broke off our stay despite having made a reservation. Youth groups who set up their tents right in front of the hood of the mobile homes and do not keep to a reasonable noise level after 10 p.m. even on the second night, despite the tenant's request, also contribute to this disappointing overall picture. The young adult group in question was expelled from the site after repeatedly disturbing the night's rest. Other youth groups with supervision did not attract any unpleasant attention in this context. The proximity to Lake Constance is the only advantage this campsite can offer. Everything else did not convince us, on the contrary. A conscious separation of tent and motorhome guests, a very clear effort in the extremely important area of cleanliness and hygiene, and a more clever pitch layout would be the absolutely necessary steps in the right direction. We received a friendly welcome at reception and the friendly groundsman took us to our pitch and showed us in. The site itself makes a very well-kept impression. In our opinion, the sanitary facilities... are also tidy. It's just a few steps to the lakeshore and you can choose a nice spot for sunbathing and swimming. The associated restaurant is very good value for money and can be recommended. From the campsite you can walk into the village in 10 minutes. There are several shops and good restaurants. We will certainly come back to Allensbach because we felt very comfortable and the prices for the pitch are reasonable.Automaticky preložené.

Not flexible during the low season due to departure time.Friendly receptionWe spent the weekend with our camping club of six units on the site in Allensbach. The two of us were the first to arrive at the site and received a very friendly and uncomplicated welcome. The pitches were ready for us so that we could really be together as a club. The site has pitches for both permanent... campers and tourists. The pitches are level and some have shade (trees). Fresh water and electrical connections are distributed around the site. The sanitary facilities were fine, as was the space for washing up. There is a launderette, a kitchen and a recreation room. There is a small restaurant and store on the site. Fresh bread rolls can be ordered until 17:00 for the next day. There is a public lido attached to the campsite. There are shopping facilities in the village. We did not use the shopping facilities at the campsite. We noticed two negative points which I would like to mention. Caravan owners have to park their towing vehicles in the public parking lots outside the campsite for a fee (!). Unfortunately, we had to leave the campsite punctually at 12.00 noon on the day of departure. Although it was not vacation time. It was also Sunday, which is better known as a departure day than an arrival day. The weather was also not conducive to a camping vacation. Was there for the lake night festival and it was an unorganized circus where the arriving guests were shouted at during parking instead of being instructed.... The campsite is also totally overcrowded, at times it looked more like a refugee camp with so many people crammed into such a small space. The sanitary facilities were catastrophic!
