Out of season (Feb. 16) very quiet and many things closed, e.g. service center, leisure park, restaurant. Beautifully situated in the countryside. The sanitary facilities are fine, probably too small when the place is busy. 3x men's showers, 3 x women's showers for 250 pitches...? So people bathed in the lake, a short time later no swimming signs were put up around the lake. Womolisten unhappy, many early departures, 2 showers for women with 300 paying guests, the same toilets!!!! The same for the men!!!!! Unfortunately, no one was informed of these shortcomings on arrival as word of the negatives spread very quickly and the contact was very good with the Womolists. So our conclusion, Schiedersee for families with children, a very clear NO!!!!Automaticky preložené.

J. W.september 2010The site described here is a motorhome stopover and not a campsite. However, there is another CP in Schieder, but it is not listed here. I am writing here about the motorhome port, as the link also says. It is one of the larger motorhome sites in Germany. It is terraced directly on the lake, behind the... restaurant and jetty. Adjacent to the site is a riding stables. A green area with a mini golf course, large playground and water playground for children starts right next to the site. Really well done, very family-friendly. E-bike rental is now also available on site. In the restaurant there are special offers for campers and in the small store there are the essentials and bread roll service. Gas bottle exchange. On the shore there is a pedal boat rental and the landing stage for the excursion boat across the lake. A hiking and cycling trail goes around the lake right past the site. The costs are very reasonable as there is a flat rate for people and pitches. Electricity is extra. Simple sanitary facilities with WC and shower available. Disposal for the camper van. The pitches are typically quite close together, but you have space to extend the awning and can sit outside. Caravans are permitted. There is a supermarket in the village, easily reached by bike. Otherwise there is not much going on in the area, but the site is definitely worthwhile for a long weekend.Automaticky preložené.
