The pitches are allocated according to the size of the vehicles. The ladies at reception are very friendly and helpful. You get all the information you need about the bus, metro and sightseeing. The sanitary facilities are very clean and are constantly cleaned.
Unfortunately,... the site is located on a main road, which is very noisy.
However, the site operator is not responsible for this.

We had spontaneously decided to spend a few days at the campsite. Despite asking several times at check-in about the cost of the stay, in the end the sum was three times as high as we were led to believe. The generally very friendly staff and the cleanliness of the site cannot excuse the completely... outrageous behavior of the manager, who seems to have no understanding of a respectful relationship between customer and service provider, which made us feel uncomfortable at this place from the very beginning.

It took us around 20 minutes to get from the square to the Acropolis by bus and metro.
The proximity to the 8-lane road meant that it was quite noisy both during the day and at night. However, this can hardly be avoided, even in a large city....
We received a friendly welcome.
The pitches are rather small but shady.
The price is quite high for one night. The price-performance ratio is normal for a campsite close to the city.

Sandra R.July 2017Pozitívne+ Top location for visiting AthensNegatívne- Not very quiet, located directly on a 4-lane roadGood campsite for sightseeing in AthensWe can agree with the previous reports, the campsite is ideal for visiting Athens. We arrived by caravan and had a spacious pitch with plenty of shade. However, we probably had one of the largest pitches, there are also some that are rather cramped. The noise didn't bother us too much, although we had... the windows open at night because of the heat. However, there are certainly quieter campsites in Greece. The sanitary facilities are not always equally clean, which probably depends on when they were cleaned. The showers could also do with a little more light. We bought the bus tickets at the reception, the bus stop is directly opposite the campsite. From there, it takes about 35 minutes to get to the Acropolis, and the nice ladies at reception explain the route very well. A tip for the Acropolis: the right-hand queue is for credit card AND cash payments, the left-hand queue is for cash payments only. This is usually shorter and as some people only realize just before the cash desk that you can't pay by card, it's much quicker here (price in July 2017: EUR 20 for adults, children are free)! There is a minimarket on the campsite, but if you walk about 15 minutes out of town along the road in front of the campsite, you will come to a medium-sized AB supermarket including a fresh food counter (same side of the road as the campsite).Automaticky preložené.

There is a bus stop directly in front of the site and the journey takes about 30 minutes. The pitches are rather narrow and some are very sunny. The sanitary... facilities were clean but a little more light in the shower would be good. The site has a small store but unfortunately no freezers for ice packs. However, the friendly lady at reception was very obliging and provided us with ice cubes for the following day. Good city CPNegatívnePrice, approachIdeal for AthensThe square is perfect for sightseeing in Athens. Bus stop directly at the square (25 min. to the center). Tickets can be bought at reception. The pitches are shady under trees or mat roofs. The sanitary facilities were the cleanest during our entire GR vacation. Everything else (flushing areas, chemical... toilet disposal) was also clean and in good condition. The only problem is getting there. Even if the navigation system should show an approach at the back of the site: THE ENTRANCE IS ON THE 4-LANE MAIN ROAD. And on the northern, out-of-town side. This means that if you are coming from the direction of Peloponnese (west), you have to drive past the square and look for a place to turn around. The Mini Market sells the essentials, but also fresh bread in the morning. Wifi on the site is free of charge. Otherwise, the place is quite expensive with 30, - for 2 people and camper in the off-season. The site management is very friendly and helpful. It was the only place in GR where we could pay by credit card.Automaticky preložené.

To see the city center of Athens and that's possible with the bus connection right in front of the site. Of course, the site is nothing for a 14-day relaxing vacation! The sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition, but... the showers should be renovated. We had a pitch near the wifi antenna and therefore a great internet connection. The owner was always friendly and helpful. Bus tickets are best bought from her on the pitch. The site is ideal for exploring the city.Automaticky preložené.

The staff were very friendly and provided us with a map, bus tickets and information about visiting the city when we checked in. The sanitary facilities were basic but spacious... and clean. However, the adjacent highway is very noisy - only late at night were the intervals between the roaring motorcycles long enough for us to fall asleep. - Michael B.May 2010The only campsite near the center of Athens. Neat site, but without any view. Right next to the arterial road to Corinth; correspondingly constant traffic noise. Shade partly provided by young trees, partly by mat roofs. Pitches are not too big and are allocated, small mobile homes get correspondingly... small pitches. Very tidy sanitary facilities. Expensive, especially expensive mini market Inexpensive bus connection to the city center, but also by bike and navigation system on side streets to the city center. (8 km)Automaticky preložené.
