The site offers a bread roll service. The bread rolls are baked on site after prior order.
The campsite also has a sauna and a heated outdoor pool.
Various pitch categories are available.
The entire site is absolutely clean and well-kept.
The shower... area is particularly noteworthy. This is similar to a private sanitary facility. There is one shower and one washbasin per unit. The hot water is regulated via a shower card.
Many hiking options are possible from the campsite. Guided hikes are also offered once a week. Bus tours, e.g. to Prague, can be booked.
There is also a cozy restaurant. However, we did not visit it.
In the village there is a bakery and a savings bank as well as other restaurants.
Shopping facilities are only available in Bad Schandau and Königstein. As the campsite is located on a high plateau, the approach involves steep inclines.
Unfortunately, there are no cycle paths in this area.
Cycling along the Elbe is excellent. A pick-up service is offered for the return to the campsite.

Staff very friendly, helpful and always ready for a chat.NegatívneAbsolutely none......A really great campsite with very nice staffWe arrived there with our two friends, caravan and dog, and were totally thrilled straight away. We had a great pitch and the surroundings were fantastic. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The pool and the whole camping area were really well prepared. The staff was great, Mr. Straßberger... offered hikes every Saturday where you had to register in advance. It was challenging but great. An unforgettable experience ;-) Bread rolls and eggs could be pre-ordered and lots of information flyers were available at reception. The Falkensteinblick restaurant is also recommended. If you are traveling by bike, the bike shuttle will pick you up down in Königstein if necessary. Great service...The surrounding area invites you to go hiking, I could write so many more positive things....We would like to thank you all for the wonderful time we had with you. I was served in a very friendly manner in the adjoining restaurant and was always asked about my wishes or whether everything was OK.
I went on great cycling and hiking tours from here. The choice in this area is almost inexhaustible.

We have been camping for about 30 years and have visited over 100 campsites in numerous countries. This one is one of the very best. The staff is very nice and do a very good job. The campground is incredibly well cared... for from the grounds to the buildings. The cleaning is also very good. As a guest you are on a spacious spot at least 100 m². Very quiet it is also and also well lit so you can go to the toilet at night without a flashlight. But also the information you want e.g. walking routes, cycling routes etc. is available. We also got a card for discount on public transport means. Also the restaurant is excellent (reserve) and also the swimming pool. Want to enjoy a fantastic environment and stay at a great campsite, with your tent, caravan or camper. Go here. Book well in advance, March is too late.Automaticky preložené.
- Christin C.July 2022PozitívneSimply everything is perfect here, the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the entire site, the beautiful spacious pitches, mostly sunny with great colorful plants to separate the individual pitches as well as the heated pool and the adventure playground for the little ones. The site is ALWAYS quiet at night, something we have never experienced differently in the 10 years we have been coming here every summer. There is a free bike shuttle that picks up the camping guests after a bike tour down in Königstein or Bad Schandau and takes them back up to the Gohrisch Berg. Dogs are welcome and there are good walking facilities and a dog shower. Fresh bread rolls daily from 08:00 and free weekly guided hikes with the campsite operator. There are simply countless positive points that I could continue to mention here. Simply our favorite campsite in the middle of Saxon SwitzerlandNegatívneThere is a small room where you can get the essentials (margarine, milk or even a shandy), unfortunately it is not a real small minimarket but really only for emergencies. It is not open, you just have to let the reception know if you want something. However, it is actually justified, as you can go shopping at Lidl in Bad Schandau until 21:00, and Lidl is even open on Sundays. Children can't swim during the lunch break from 12:00-14:00, the pool is only for adults, which always annoys our children, especially this year at 35 degrees in the midday sun. For adults, especially senior citizens, this is of course more of an advantage.Best campsiteFor us the perfect campsite all round. The price/performance ratio is perfect. The Elbe cycle path is also not too far away. But an eBike is recommended for the return trip to the CP.

There's not a blade of grass that's too long, no cobwebs, no weeds growing anywhere. When it rained heavily, the water ran off again in a short time thanks to the gravel-grass mixture on the pitch.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back one day, as Saxon Switzerland still has many hiking destinations in store for us.Automaticky preložené.

A clear recommendation!A very beautiful, idyllic campsite in a quiet location. Once you have mastered the approach (14% incline in places), you can start relaxing on the site. The pitches are on grass. So herines can get in without any problems. We would definitely come here again. Unfortunately, the weather didn't quite play along on our first visit.
