This is of course a rather exotic situation with special requirements. These are met quite well on this site by the huge adjacent (free) natural swimming pool, where you can also romp around with SUPs, inflatable boats and other things in one area... - at a depth of 0.5-1 m. A visit to the castle will also put the kids in a good mood. We should also mention the many beautiful hiking trails, which we have already used on other occasions. The site itself is regional and dominated by permanent campers, with the occasional touring camper in between. The groundsman is friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities are average, but adequate and clean. We didn't try the restaurant. Highly recommended for a (long) weekend or a short vacation.Automaticky preložené.

The pitch was just right for us, the food in the restaurant was very good. The staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly, the manager even organized take-away food for us on Saturday despite the restaurant... being very busy. The best thing was the helpfulness of the campsite operator. But especially from "Marco" and the couple who gave us the fuses. That was simply brilliant, thank you very much again. We will certainly be back.

Outside the square unfortunately shortcomings, so a gully lid has been broken in all year and only a warning sign is set up, electricity boxes are outdated. The place itself is very dog friendly. If you want to watch Bundesliga soccer (especially the black and yellow!) at the weekend, the SKY lounge is the place to be.
Showers and hot water are free to use. No shower tokens or similar.
Unfortunately,... the sanitary facilities are no longer up to date. Shower cubicles without storage facilities, too few individual wash cubicles (only one cubicle for men but with two washbasins!?) and somewhat obstructed WC cubicles. All in all, however, the sanitary facilities are O.K. and clean!

There is a kiosk, a restaurant and washing facilities.... The washrooms are spacious. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes that are freshly and lovingly prepared. The surrounding area invites you to explore. Excursions to the sights of the Saarland are also recommended. In summer, the nearby natural outdoor pool offers a pleasant opportunity to cool off. Ideal for anyone who wants to relax. Perfect for unwinding.
