In the men's toilet there was yellow sludge (probably urine) in the floor drain in front of the toilet cubicles for days (and it smelled like it) and the toilets were often unclean. Charging €3 per person per day for showering is... as unusual as it is outrageous. There is only one common floor drain for all showers, in which hair and other things collect! A garbage charge of €2.50 per person per day is also completely excessive. No proof of vaccination or testing was requested on arrival at the campsite. The doors to the sanitary facilities were wide open the whole day, (which served as a temporary playground for children) although we were given a key for this on arrival in return for a deposit. Masks were not compulsory when entering the sanitary facilities and were not checked. We were also told that dogs had to be kept on a lead, but many dogs roamed the site unchecked and did their business on or in front of tents or caravans.
For a total fee of €45 for two people including motorhome, you can really expect adequate value for money, which was in no way offered on this site. We will never visit this site again and recommend all other camping guests not to do so.Automaticky preložené.- Michael B.October 2020PozitívneIn the immediate vicinity of Lake Constance and the ferry to MeersburgNegatívneService catastrophic Price performance is not right at allPrice-performance ratio is not right at allWhen we arrived at the pitch at 12:30, the groundsman insisted on his 3-hour lunch break (with working hours of 10-12 and 15-19:30, that's just 6.5 hours a day). He then kept us waiting until about 15:30 when he finally returned. In the meantime, 5 motorhomes had arrived. The pick-up then took another... half an hour. Unfortunately, this ruined our afternoon.
We then had to pay an additional €3 per person per day to use the sanitary facilities. Allegedly a corona measure. We didn't do this because the facilities didn't look particularly inviting either. In the end we paid 44 € (without sanitary facilities) with 1 motorhome and 3 people (2 adults +1 child).
In view of the miserable service and the poor facilities of the site, the price-performance ratio is in no way right. I would not go to this site again. The organization and attitude of the campsite operators no longer fits in with our times. There is a need to renovate the facilities as well as the organization and guest service.
For information: the day before we were at Titisee and had a top pitch on a terrace with a complete view of the lake and direct access to ultra-modern and clean sanitary facilities. As a treat, there was even a rental car included in the price for shopping. All for 41 € !!! Everything was just right.Automaticky preložené. - T. - Bart S.July 2019PozitívneLocatieNegatívnePrijs, uiterst onvriendelijk, minimalistische voorzieningen.Slechtste camping in Duitsland ooitAls wij een slechte ervaring hebben schrijven we er liever helemaal niet over, tenzij de ervaring een waarschuwing waard is, zoals in dit geval. De ligging van de camping is uitstekend, er is een supermarkt in de buurt, en ligt vlak in de buurt van openbaar vervoer, zowel bus als Ferry. Verder is er... werkelijk niets goeds over te zeggen. Het sanitair is niet van deze tijd, met een gemeenschappelijke open doucheruimte, aan het einde van de dag viezer dan een truckstop aan de snelweg. De ontvangst is veruit de meest grove, onvriendelijke, minst behulpzame, trainerende ervaring denkbaar. Het terrein is flink hellend, voor een camper zijn richtblokken niet afdoende om recht te kunnen zetten, en dat terwijl de hele camping afgeladen wordt met Campers. Er is een soort café/barretje met helemaal niets beschikbaar en geen service. Er is een wasmachine, maar die moet worden bediend door de beheerster die daar geen zin in heeft. Er zijn voor de hele camping drie afwasbakjes voor de vaat. Verder is er helemaal niets. Geen kinderplaatsje, geen WIFI, geen broodjes service, geen winkeltje op het terrein, geen zwembad, niks. De prijzen zijn echter vergelijkbaar met die van een vijfsterren camping. Onder de vijftig Euro p/n kan men hier niet terecht, slechts de ligging vormt het bestaansrecht van deze camping! Nooit maar dan ook nooit meer!

If it is quiet on the campsite fine... then it wins in terms of location. Money is asked for everything. Place with small tent, electricity and 2 people with car on parking lot is 32 euros per day. Addministrative processing takes endless ...... you have to take and have time. Hostess/host: nice, but particular. Very direct in approach. Just say that they do not like people in some things. The site is not new, nor are the sanitary facilities. But they are always very clean and it is quiet, informal and in a great location. 5 minutes to the shops or the ferries, what more could you want. The ground conditions on the site are in need of renovation as the ground is muddy and slippery, especially when it rains. The sanitary facilities are ok so far,... only the showers don't work at all, as there is only one communal shower in which a single cubicle with a curtain can be used. This is no longer up to date. The caravans and motorhomes are placed so close together that it is like a parking lot. The operator is strange and very moody, unfriendly to many. If you only want... to stay overnight and are otherwise out and about during the day, it's ok. Camping vacations are not recommended. The ferry to Meersburg is not far away, nor is Constance. It's not exactly cheap and doesn't have much to offer apart from a wonderful view of Lake Constance. The pitches are unparceled... and so small that you feel like you're on a caravan dealer's parking lot. Due to the lack of paths, you constantly have to walk across the neighbors' pitches. It is better to eat in the surrounding stores or restaurants. The sanitary facilities are reasonably clean, but old. A cubicle has now been installed in the group shower for those with shame. The groundsman is a very friendly fellow who is always on hand with help and advice. All in all, the DKV campsite is a place where you... not only meet great people, but also a place where you can learn a lot of new things, provided you are open to them. Small campsite.NegatívneShared showers like in a sports club (DKV ...), only 1 separate shower each at M and F (but free of charge).Something between a transit and a vacation spot ...The DKV site somehow stands out from the usual campsites. It's small, doesn't accommodate permanent campers, the staff are friendly and humorous (!), there's actually hardly anything to complain about. But in the high season, the caravans are very close together (so no vacation experience if the neighbors... disturb you). And there is no shop, unless you make do with the bread roll service and the weekly visit to a mobile supermarket. It really has everything. The biggest advantage of the site is its proximity to Constance and the ferry (Staad). Swimming in the lake is possible, but the "real" lido is approx. 1.5 km away and there is no entrance fee. According to the motto "what more do you need", you can have a good time there in a somewhat alternative way.Automaticky preložené.
