The site consists of 90% permanent campers who have more or less nicely installed their caravans. 200m further down the road there is an asphalt pitch for motorhomes. Pitches for Womo partly graveled, on two sloping meadows and terraces between permanent campers. A terrace for tents and a 50m long meadow strip outside the fenced area directly on the lake (parking spaces for your own car directly behind... it). No electricity connections at either. - Steffi A.jún 2014Egenes Camping, a CP with "tradition" !After we (2 motorhomes) arrived at the campsite at 14:00, we were offered a pitch for the desired night between the existing permanent campers, who were not present at the time, for a measly NOK 320 per motorhome! On the website, the campsite is advertised as one of the oldest in Norway (since 1930)... and the sanitary facilities / dishwashing facilities are of the same standard. There is no possibility for cooking or microwave or oven at all (we found this on our 4 week trip at many 2 star campsites). Since our arrival there was such loud hard rock music at the reception that we asked twice to turn it down, but this only worked with my 3rd energetic appearance. Unfortunately only until around 19:00, but then it started all over again until 22:oo. In my opinion, the site owners are aware that there is no other campsite nearby, but whether this justifies such prices and the conditions described....???? Conclusion: An overnight stay at a parking lot would always have been better!Automaticky preložené.

However, when we arrived 3 hours later, the reservation was not passed on to the next shift and we were allowed to look for a new campsite. - Frank S.júl 2012Egenes Camping is located on a headland and has water on two sides. There are almost only permanent campers on this site and only a few pitches are reserved for day visitors. Unfortunately, the pitches are hardly overgrown with grass and the ground is very hard. Overall, the site is not worth 4 stars,... as described. But we only realized this when we had already paid and set up on the pitch. NOK 275 incl. electricity. The pitch we are on is quite steep. However, the wheel chocks are not enough to get us completely level. Emptying the waste water tank is not possible because someone has parked in the disposal area and the lady at reception has no idea (or desire) how to find him. However, filling up with fresh water is no problem.Automaticky preložené.
