"Very nice campsite in direct highway location - We were looking for a campsite near us (<50km) for the start of the season to check everything on our oldie caravan. We found a very nice campsite here that offered much more than we expected! The sanitary facilities deserve special mention here. Beautiful large pitches with grass and a small paved terrace. Electricity, water and waste water directly on the pitch. The highway can only be heard a few times and is very well shielded by the noise barrier. When we left today, we looked at each other and said "We'll be back!". "Great for children and families - We are now in our third year here. The children just love it (now 16 and 8 years old). The older one can SUP and the playground on land and in the water with the raft is always a highlight for the little one. The go-karts for hire are always in great demand and the indoor playground is also great in bad weather. We hardly got to see our boy during the day - he always found a direct connection. The swimming islands with trampoline and climbing wall are also always a highlight. The pitches are ok in terms of size. However, we don't have a very large caravan. Fresh bread rolls and eggs every day. The medical stores are all quite new and nicely designed. We will be back again soon.

"Very nice for children - We arrived without a reservation, received a friendly welcome and were then allocated a pitch. We were told to pay on arrival. However, cash is required and card payment is not accepted. Unfortunately, we didn't have that much cash with us. That's why it was agreed that we would pay on departure. My expectation is that you should be able to pay by card everywhere these days, especially when it comes to larger sums of money that you don't usually have with you. So we had to make another unscheduled trip to Neumünster and look for an ATM. This was very annoying. It was also inconvenient that the sanitary facilities are locked and you need a key. Four of us had one key, which was sometimes quite inconvenient and really annoyed us. But that was all the criticism we had. Otherwise it is a very nice place. The sanitary facilities looked freshly renovated and are visually appealing. There is a children's bathroom in one wash house and family showers in another wash house. Showering is included in the price, shower tokens are not required. The "cooking and laundry room" is older and could be renovated. An old electric stove with oven is available for cooking, which can be used for a coin. The site has a great swimming lake and a large playground for the children. There is even an indoor playground, but this is only open to children up to the age of 9. You can order bread rolls and buy fresh eggs and ice cream at reception. However, there is no store. However, there are vending machines where you can buy sweets and soft drinks. There is a snack bar on site, which we didn't try but made a good impression. There is a very nice restaurant within walking distance in the village where we ate. We only noticed the nearby highway as a quiet background noise.
